The name "Inland Empire" implies the existence of an Inland Emperor. Who is it?
And if no one claims the title, may I humbly nominate myself?

Austin has this quiet way of locking eyes with you that makes it feel like everything else disappears for a second. He doesn’t look away, just steady, focused, almost like he’s trying to understand what’s going on around him and where he fits into it.
He shares a kennel with William, the very fearful boy, and somehow in the middle of all of that stress and noise, Austin still holds onto this calm, observant energy. He’s young, about a year old, and just sitting there waiting while the days pass him by.
It’s hard to understand how a dog this striking and aware is still overlooked. Please share him everywhere. He deserves a chance to leave this kennel alive.

For nearly two months, Rozae has watched dogs come and go while her own kennel door never seems to open.
Every day begins the same way. New faces walk through the shelter. New hopes. New possibilities. Somehow, they always seem to belong to someone else.
Meanwhile, Rozae keeps waiting.
We had this beautiful girl out in the play yard today, and she completely stole our hearts. She is so incredibly sweet, dog friendly, and all she wanted to do was stay close. She sat beside us the entire time, constantly reaching out to place her paw in our hands. I fell in love with her.
Because Rozae is absolutely stunning in person. Her white and gray coat catches your eye, but it's her personality that stays with you. She greets people with an easy friendliness, happy to share her attention with anyone willing to stop for a moment. She doesn't act like a dog who's given up. She still seems to believe her turn is coming.
She arrived at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter on 05/07/2026 from San Bernardino, and somehow became one of the shelter's longest residents. Now she is scheduled for euthanasia on 07/08.
She has waited longer than so many others. Please don't let her wait for the wrong ending.

Are there any local bars or restaurants showing the game tomorrow??
I for one like it compared to the old one that was there. The 6th st side of the building is starting to get its cladding and we can see what the place will look like. Its refreshing to see a new giant warehouse thing with some sort of style vs the usual white + grey 'modern' or beige 'mission' style warehouses we usually get.

Does anyone know if Robert Patrick is doing any signings? Because my Uncle is going and I’m planning on giving him something for Robert to sign for me and the website doesn’t say anything about autographs. I’ve been told by a few friends that celebrities do autographs even if it’s not listed on the website. I really wouldn’t know any of this because I’ve never been to CreepIE Con before. So please let me know.
Im born and raised in San Bernardino and building a startup in the IE is basically impossible - looking to connect with any one locally in the Tech and Startup space or get pointed in the right direction to any hubs, meetups and etc. :)
TLDR: Anyone know any Hackerspaces or Homebrew type of clubs in the IE

My wife and I are in town for the 4th today for work. It's her second time in the US, first 4th of July.
We're in Ontario, no car, but can Lyft. Don't want to go too far from where we are. Are there any firework shows or bbqs in the area that are safe?
We're not from the area and would love to get recommendations!
I live in Fontana
A rescue reached out to me desperately asking if I would be able to foster a 2 year old, female, black pit mix who had glowing shelter notes. She was on the euthanasia list due to being there too long and her deadline (quite literally) was extended multiple times and was on final notice.
I've had her in my home since 6/14 and she has been one of the sweetest, most playful, well behaved foster I've ever had.
Every dog she meets, big or small, she immediately goes into a play bow. She's had multiple play dates and has yet to come across a dog she did not get along with. She's great with people and has the most gentle demeanor. She arrived completely potty trained with 0 accidents in the home so far. She walks great on a leash.
The most amazing thing I've noticed though is how well behaved she has been in the public. I took her to a dog friendly brewery and to a busy downtown area and it almost felt like I had a service dog with me.
When we stood on the busy street outside of a restaurant to wait for seating, she pretty much just sat or laid right next to me and was not reactive even though there were a lot of people walking by with strollers or other dogs.
When we sat down to eat, she pretty much just settled right under the chair or table and chilled there until we were done. Was not bothered by servers approaching the table repeatedly.
Everywhere we've gone, people have commented how good and sweet of a dog she is. Unfortunately there hasn't been any serious adoption interests yet. She is so deserving of a good home and I'm going to do my very best to find that for her.
Does anyone know someone who has been looking to adopt a dog? If so, I think she would be a great addition to any family or household.

I screenshotted this gem last year in September. Apparently, Mateside Global only wants ethnic Chinese employees at its Ontario, California, location.
I wouldn't care if this were in China, but coming to the multicultural West & excluding all other demographics... unacceptable.
We all know it isn't just Chinese (or Asians in general) who do this, but I'll save that conversation for a later date.
Mateside Global US Inc. is the parent company of VOCIC, a prominent medical equipment and mobility aids brand.
