Castle Park, Riverside, CA ride park closing Nov 2nd

I hope this is not permanent but this is a small amusement park of approx. 25 rides that I have had an annual pass, off and on since the 1990s. It has slowly lost business. On my few Friday evening visits this year, there have been less than 20 people walking around the park. Please visit as I am not sure the ride park will re-open in its current form and the park is worth a visit.

I received this email from the park today.

Suboxone to get off 7OH and kratom

I am trying to get off of 7OH as it and SR17 are illegal in California now, and can't find online sources. I was at approx 50 mg per day 7OH and 25 mg of SR-17018 and had really bad 24 hours after running out during my home detox. I think these are relatively low doses.

I did an online appointment and was prescribed Suboxone 4mg x 3 times per day for one week to start and states treatment is 4 to 5 months. This seams long to me as I was only on opiods for 8 months.

I do not want to get addicted to suboxone. I want to try to get by on 4 mg per day or less total by taking quarter strips or 1mg when symptoms appear. Do people get addicted or experience withdraw symptoms from Suboxone if taken for only two weeks? Were talking about maybe 28 mg the first week and 14 mg total the second week? I did not sleep last night and don't feel like I will tomorrow either so I need something.

I was thinking of a sechedule like, 4 mg per day for one week folllowed by a 20% reuduction during each day of the second week. If I can get by on less, I will.

SR-17018 and naltrexone

So I used SR for 2 months to get off a 6 month 7OH habit. I had gotten down to maybe 15 mg per day for the last week of using SR. I then decided to work on my alcohlism the next day by starting with 1/4 of a 50 mg naltrexone tablet. Within one hour, I had every sign of narcotics withdrawl. I was shivering, sweating, yawning, and every part of my body hurt. It felt like I was going to die and thought about hitting the emergency room for close to one day, but wasn't sure if they could reverse what I had done. I think I am afraid of ever trying naltrexone again for drinking.

So I came up with a taper/quit schedule to get off 60 mg of 7 OH per day with SR17. I will report back how well it is working.

So I ordered 50 @ 50 mg tablets of SR-17018 to quit a 60 mg per day 7 OH habbit. I did not want to use a milligram scale so I am doing the taper by breaking the tables into 4 quaters and reducing the amount of quarter tablets I take per day.

For example, I currently take 4 @ 15 mg Numbz 7 OH tablets per day that I break into 16 equal quarters and take them ever 1 & 1/2 hour or so. I am going to reduce the 7 OH by 20% per day over 5 days and then start to taper the SR after a few days. So I will be taking 16 quarter tablets the first day, 13 quarters on the second, 10 on the third day, and so on.

Some 7 OH schedules say take 50 mg SR three times per day but other say to take 150 mg at three times per day. I am guessing that if I only take 60 mg per day of 7 OH that I am on the lighter side. I may have to increase my SR dosage up from 150 mg per day if the withdrawl symptoms are too strong.
