Xfinity intentionally leaving me whole weekend without internet
Been an xfinity customer for more than 20 years. The Internet outage map shows that everything is good with my address. Checked all connections and hardware and everything is working but I’m not getting the globe light on my modem. Took a long time with their xfinity AI assistant and finally got a live chat. After speaking with them on Friday morning informing them my Internet isn’t working, they said it’ll be fixed Saturday by 3pm but they scheduled an in home service for Monday. I guessed that telling me that it’ll be fixed by Saturday 3pm was a hoax and smoke screen to hold me off and to wait until Monday. Today’s Saturday and as I assumed, no Internet Saturday after 3pm. Spoke to live chat again and nothing can be done but to wait until Monday’s scheduled in home appointment. Xfinity lies. I’m so done with xfinity because there’s constant dropping of Internet and they’re still using coaxial connections. I will be cancelling with them and finally switching to ATT fiber. Xfinity sucks!
