My close friend gifted me an expensive watch for my birthday. I don’t wear watches but did compliment hers once or twice so she got me the same one. As much as I loved the generosity and am so appreciative of her, I messaged her today about how I found a purse from the same brand that I’d find myself wearing more often. She said to go for it but I can’t help but feel guilty for not keeping the gift. I wanted to be honest with her from now and not later down the line when she questions why I don’t wear it. AITA?
