A calming reminder to my juniors

See, I understand that many of you are tensed or not happy about the college you have been allotted. I completely get that feeling because i was in your shoes just a year ago. But trust me when i say this, undergraduate seats in most of the colleges under wbcap remain empty. The first important step was to make a proper thought out preference list according to your preferences. If you did it well enough, just take admission and opt for "Yes" when the website asks whether you want to upgrade or not. Cutoff remains high in the first list and even in the first round itself for most cases. But theres mop up round where you have a pretty good chance at getting your college. Mark my words even at the end of wbcap, seats will remain empty and the colleges will start separate admission procedures in their college website, where you can simply apply to your preferred college. So my point is dont be too sad about today's lists, you will have many more chances in the upcoming few months. Just try to stay calm and follow all the necessary procedures. If you have any doubts, feel free to dm.
