Hi everyone.

I'm a class 12 cbse pcb student and im aiming for BSc LS in presidency next year under UR category. As someone with a strong base in biology, an above average in chemistry and a weak student in physics (barely passing). How can I prepare for the exam? I will be honest, I haven't been giving my 100% to p and c and ik I can do better in both but I feel like I don't have enough time to prepare for boards and pubdet and cuet altogether. I mean, I have to cover class 11 syllabus as well and I saw in the pyq papers that many questions are not from ncert for bio. Any book suggestions that I can use?

Why are the people with 470-480 merit indexes in mop up?? Did y'all not get in during phase 1?

I'm going for English hons, and I got into Women's college calcutta, but I'm kinda confused like should i apply in mop up? Even if I do, which colleges should i? I'm from UR category and my merit index was 422. Helpp

I was going through the WBJEE 2026 choice filling portal and noticed that University of Calcutta is not available in the list of colleges.

According to last year's WBJEE cutoffs, the University of Calcutta had admissions under the WBJEE quota. However, I can't find the college or the branch in this year's choice filling portal.

Is anyone else facing the same issue?

• Has the University of Calcutta withdrawn from WBJEE counselling this year?
• Could this be a temporary portal issue that might get updated later?

If anyone has any official information or has contacted WBJEEB or the university, please share it here.

I don't know about others but for me, this morning was really weird. Today, I have logged into my account to pay for the semester fees but idk why but they increased their fees by like 10k for *1st installment of Sem3* without any prior notice. There is no such detail about the fees structure on their website...

Even in their admission portal they have mentioned that the fees will rise on a yearly basis by **10%** to counter the inflation and various development costs but i think even a student who is weak in maths can assume that such drastic change in fees is not clearly 10%.

Ik that our seniors and other students with much better background have no problem accepting such situations but for a student who is from a below middle class family, it is really difficult for them to accept such unnoticed changes.

Nearest metro Jatin das park , you should get a pg near college i feel better, be there at 12 pm sharp at your respective departments , ask for directions inside the building or the guard kakus , there are total 3 building - old main, it building (humanities building),aitc building , if any more doubts do ping , happy to help and carry pen, pencil,notebooks, get cleared your doubts by the teachers until your HOD tells you not to leave do not leave , after done by introduction go for near by food stalls or chaa to a start of a new phase of life,and do not give your number to any stranger especially some one note wearing an id card okay if you know a senior hangout with them HOPE THIS HELPS AND THEIR IS NO POLITICAL STUDENT UNION OFFICIALLY AT ASUTOSH NO POLITICS , IF SOME ONE COMES AND TELL I AM THIS THAT TELL THEM DHONNO BADD AND RUN ANYWAYS HAVE FUN AND LOBBY IS THERE SO DWWW ENJOY.

hi again. i wanna know if there's any offline procedure for WBCAP mop up round admission. is it totally online? lmk incase any other way comes around because i'm not from west bengal and i don't really know about the system there. in my state, both happens so i was wondering if it's the same in WB. my merit index is 480 btw.

Is it necessary to attend the first week of college? I am an outstation student and I most likely won't be able to attend the first few days of college due to shifting.
