First time pc building; would like some advice/feedback
Hi all,
Im a pre-med / medical student trying to build my first pc that can handle heavy pdf, chrome, Slightly heavy 3d modeling (chemistry research on the side), some 3d anatomy modeling as well. The occasional gamming on the side (Some AAA games and smaller games/
Im trying to make a machine that will last through medical school without needing a major upgrade.
This is what i came up with:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 (non-RGB)
Motherboard: MSI MAG X870E Tomahawk MAX WiFi AM5
RAM: V-Color Manta XSky 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO
Storage: WD Black SN850X 2TB PCIe Gen4
GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX 9070 XT 16GB GDDR6
PSU: Corsair RM850x 850W ATX 3.1 PCIe 5.1
Case: Lian Li Lancool 207 Black
I wasn't sure whether or not to go with the current 32GB (V-Color Manta XSky DDR5-6000 CL30 EXPO, or a 64gb variant like G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 64GB 2×32GB DDR5-6000 CL30.
Anything I'm missing? Other than peripherals?
Appreciate any input
