EFMP Denied Medical Clearance
My wife is Active Duty Air Force (O3) , we have 2 kids all of which have been cleared medically for PCS to Yokota AB, Japan. I recently went to rehab for substance abuse and was denied by EFMP to be placed on the orders. Our kids are 12 and 15 and her job is an Exec for 3 star General, so there will be travelling for her involved.
We all really love Japan and have stayed at this base before. Any tips or anything with how I could change this so that I can be on the orders or a work-around?
I was thinking I could just get a visa and rent a place in Fussa or just live with them on base as our marriage is enduring my problems. I'm still waiting to hear from EFMP to see what specifically they are denying me for but the base has everything I would need for my recovery.
I would like to continue therapy and AA/NA, both of which exist on and off base (if a reason is using up resources for AD peeps).
Please help!
