which kind or brand of thermal pads should i get for my gpu?
Recently i bought a pack of generic 1mm thermal pads to start freelancing and i got de amazing idea of trying to replace the thermal pads of my Gigabyte RTX 3060ti Gaming OC, according to google it uses 1mm thick sheets so i thought it was right, but after the replacement i noticed a tremendous increase in fan speed and noice, and in HWinfo it showed a 107°C hotspot on the GPU even in the game menu, then i took it apart and noticed that the thermal pads were bending the pcb, and in consequence the hotspot increased a lot, the GPU temp stayed at 70°C or 80°C as normal, but the hotspot peaked at 110°C
then i realized my 3060ti had the PCB an heatsink of a 3070 so looking for solutions in other forums i noticed that the correct thermal pads thickness according to Gigabyte support was 1.25mm, 1mm and 0.75mm so now i'm looking for 1.5mm thermal pads soft enough to get right every thickness without bending the PCB or causing more trouble
my region is mexico and in budget i don't know how much should i expect for a good quality thermal pad without going into preimum brands
