Hey folks! Hex Kittens 5 and King of the Fae Islands 3 are both out.

What Are They? Hex Kittens is a multi-author experiment, with each of us "directing" a book with the same cast of characters. Book 5 is by Neil Bimbeau. It's supernatural. King of the Fae Islands is a base-building, fantasy series co-written by Annabelle Hawthorne.

Gang, at the request of a few fans and authors, we've built an entire wiki module on the site. Authors: you can empower fans you trust to help manage and author wikis YOU control.
Fans: you can request wiki creation and show interest (with approval) in helping to build out your favorite author's wikis.

As always, these upgrades and features are 100% free and designed to encourage community, sharing, and celebration of the stories we all love.

This week we've been really pushing to integrate more sounds/narration into the site. That means voice acting from your narrators. Allowing discovery of new narrators, just like authors, and new ways to interact with your collection.

Reminder: this new sound feature is entirely free. All you have to do is have the card and you get access to the performance.

In our relentless desire to add more ways to collect and use waifus from your favorite authors, we have added a couple new features:

1: Cosmetics. Some cards will have cosmetics with unique art and/or cinematics you can unlock.
2: A new weekly boss. Organize your waifus into squads. Send them against the worst enemies you can imagine.
3: Earn cosmetics and points.

It's a good time.

2: Authors can create collections, add photos to them, along with tags and keywords
3: Blogs now allow authors to tag blogs or other users directly. Fun times!
4: Blogs are promoted on the newsfeed - our goal is to reward engagement with the fans, and this is just another step toward creating the ultimate, one-stop community for it.
