Sorry for the amateur post, but I’m currently a bit desperate. I hit the tire against a curb, and when I checked the damage, I noticed this “tear” on the sidewall, not to mention the rim.

Do you think this tire is salvageable? Should I be worried? The cut doesn’t seem deep; it looks more like the rubber’s outer “layer” was scraped off. I haven’t noticed any air loss, bulges, change in the tire’s firmness or metal coming out.
