Left my car at a repair shop on Tuesday and just picked it up today on Monday. Found a screw in my tire

I dropped my car off to a repair shop on Tuesday and they just finished today and I picked it up (Monday). I drove it to the grocery store and realized one of my tire’s pressure was low and brought it back to have the repair shop inflate it. Realized there’s a screw in it.

I have a feeling it happened there - they had it almost a week and it would’ve been way more flat by now. Is there anything I can do?

Is this a true sidewall bulge? Safe to drive 4 miles to a tire shop? (Pirelli Cinturato P7 Run Flat)

I noticed what seems like a slight raised spot on the sidewall of my front tire. It’s not a large bubble, but it’s enough that it caught my attention.
The tire:
Holds 35 PSI overnight (other three are around 41 PSI).
Isn’t losing air.
Hasn’t had a blowout or puncture.

Don’t people realize that their tires are the first, most important part of automotive safety?

It never ceases to amaze me how many people neglect tires. Drive them under or over inflated. Ignore uneven wear. Drive on them when their useful life is long gone.
These folks have little kids in their cars and put themselves and everyone else on the road in danger.
They will complain about the price of tires while wearing $200 sunglasses or carry designer handbags. And have “sleeve” tattoos.

Priorities are mixed up.

When I was 18. My dad literally disabled my car from driving one time until I had new tires.

Is this safe to drive/move?

In an electric charging spot there was the cut off base of a pole left, just a few cm high in the side of a bay. Impossible to see when in the car... The cut is just on the outside of the tire. There's no air escaping as of yet.

I bought a the chrapest tire I could find for a road trip. It is made in Cambodia.

The Sailun Atrezzo SVA-2. It was the cheapest tire available for my car, and Discount Tire didn't even list the brand. It just said "Brands may vary based on availability." I then proceeded to drive 350 miles on it the next day.

By the way, Indiana's roads suck really bad. They are so comically bad that Indiana has its own campaign to address it.

Tyres good tread but dry cracking. Replace to pass MOT?

Just bought a second hand set of wheels with Michelin PS4s on. Replaced the rears as the tre,ad depth was just about legal (I live in the UK). The fronts have 4mm tread, but has dry cracking on the side wall. I have a MOT coming up (vehicle road worthy inspection/test) and I am wondering if these will pass, or should I get them replaced as well? I have done my research however it seems like there is no consensus and very different case by case so decided to ask you guys here.

Is this safe?

Basically was pulling into a corner parking spot earlier today and I tapped the curb with the front right tire. Not super hard, wasn’t pulling in fast but this is the current situation. These tires are less than a year old. Is this going to be ok? Thx in advance

Cannot find correct size tyres

Pardon my spelling I'm located in Australia so thats why there's a Y in tyres. Anyways I'm wanting to replace my tires as they are cheap and old and one isn't holding the right pressure for long. The placard on the door says I need 215/50r16 89v tires to suit the (original) rims it comes with. Currently the car has 225/50r16 96w tires fitted, which do rub the fenders a bit when I lock the wheel. I thought this was odd, until I looked for the correct tyres on the internet and could not find them anywhere. I'm thinking this might be the reason these wider tyres were fitted. Just curious if it would be fine to replace the tyres with the same size fitted or if I should look further into finding the perfect fit. For reference, the car is a 2001 Ford/Mercury Cougar. Thanks for any help, I'm new to this.

New tires for Camry SE

Time to replace my tires. I use the Costco tire center. I live in NJ but don't really drive in snow. Prefer a tire with a comfortable ride and low road noise. Only drive about 5K miles per year some highway and some local. Here are my options: Bridgestone Turanza, Bridgestone Potenza, Michelin Primacy MXM4, Michelin Cross Climate 2, Michelin Defender 2 and Michelin Pilot Sport. Appreciate your feedback.

Gf drove 1km on a flat.. Full replace or patch?

I've done some looking around and it seems it's going to be a replace. Hoping someone can tell me different as we aren't in a place financially for a new tire. The hole itself would be patch able, but I'm concerned because she drove on it that we will need a new one. TIA

Upgraded to Ultra High Performance Tires

A few weeks ago I put Continental DWS 06 Plus tires on my Carnival. I already had put them on my MDX with AWD and they had really upgraded the grip. Discount tire offered me $240 for the stock tires which had 7/32” left on them.

The van has noticeably better grip when doing turns at speed and accelerating. If my MDX went from 8/10 to 10/10 grip with the new tires, I’d say the Carnival went from a 5/10 to a 7/10.

I’d recommend the upgrade if someone has been considering it.

F150 Sidewall gouge

Is this a significant enough gauge to worry about? The photo doesn't quite do it justice but you get the idea, I'm currently running 55 psi and the tires max is 80, I also need to rotate my tires which would put this one in the front. Edit: these are not stock tires, they are "TBT Tires TS-37 A/T 10-ply E LT275/65r20", online it says to run them 45-55 unloaded and 55-65 loaded. I aired them uo to 55 today because I've been running 40 in the front and 35 in the rear and the tires are showing under inflation wear and the sidewalls would bulge just under the weight of the truck on flat ground.
