My ideal summer would see the Celtics…
- Add a guard with the MLE
- Trade for a starting-level big
- Draft Veesaar for long-term answers at the 5

Granted there would need to be some roster movement, and this approach hard caps at the first apron. But, it feels like Brad has all the tools he needs to fix both roster holes this summer.

With that in mind, I dove into 5 free agent guards who could be a target with the MLE.

For some of these, they may need to accept lower money (MLE) in the first year, with a scaled rise over the other years of the deal.
