Unpopular opinion: when you're small, replying to comments matters more than your thumbnails
Everyone here (me included) spends hours on thumbnails and titles, and yeah they matter. but I keep noticing the small channels that actually stick around aren't always the ones with the best packaging, they're the ones where the creator replies to basically every comment like they're talking to a friend
When I was really small I did that and people kept coming back, a few of them commented on almost every video. now that more comments come in I've started skipping some and i'm not sure if that was a mistake or just normal
So curious where people land:
do you still reply to everything or just the first hour or so?
did you notice a difference when you stopped (or started)?
or is this overrated and the time is better spent on the next video?
genuinely want to hear both sides
