I've been having a blast coming back to Anbennar, absolutely loving the magic rework. Adds a breath of fresh air to even the oldest MT.

After playing in the EoA, and eventually forming the Empire in 1560, playing the new Esthil MT, and having played plenty of nations in Cannor (such as Istralore, Ashinade, Gnomes and Kobolds in the north) and Escann (all flavours of greenskins!), I'm wondering what YOUR recommendation nations are in these areas.

I haven't played too many Adventurers in Escann, and weirdly I don't go Coronite much unless I'm a reforming Greenskin.

Easily could have formed this by 1550, but I've been having great bringing Lorent and Gawed into the fold!

Started as tiny Seinathíl Became the Emperor after the first election, then never let go. 100% want to go the Magic route of Anbennar next time. Wex maybe?

What an absolute blast this has been to form such an empire. 100% going back on my save and I'm going to bring the rest of the princes back into the fold THEN we shall truely unite the Empire of Anbennar.

I 100% don't see how I'll ever win this?

They have like 1 million troops vs my original 500k (Couldn't afford the army)

I cannot siege everyone down fast enough before they get through my defences and with the -75 modifier....I can't seem to peace anyone out!!

Am I missing something here? Is this just sheer impossible?

After a recommendation to play them, this was the first time me ACTUALLY playing a Dwarf nation, and I've got to say it was really really fun! Nowhere near finished but I feel like I'm done with this playthrough, just due to the sheer BS that is EU4 late game.

Yes, I could slowly take the land, then hold up in my forts, but then I lose ALL my alliances. I need to take some land of the Orcs, but obviously they are a vassal and their master is allied to the top Great Powers:

Ah yes, I'll fight over half a million Elves...

I've fought so many damn Elves in this playthrough just to SCRAPE a little bit of land. Can never get Jadd or Grombar to help out.

I understand EU4 has player bias, but when an Orc nation hiding in the Serpentspine...is allied to the Wood Elves and Gawed? Nah.

Player bias to be real sometimes

When I wanted to pish down south, ofc the Dwarf nation is allied to Irrilium, Kheterata and Varaham.

It's not all bad new's thought. This again was my first time playing Dwarves and I will 100% be playing some others! Recommendations?!

Been playing around with the new Magic system, as non magic and magic nations.

Wow, what a breathe of fresh air! 10/10

However now looking for a recommendation for a nation who's just been updated or brand new!

Also, never played a proper playthrough of a Dwarf nation, what's a specific recommendation for them?

Struggling to find a working Rom for Omega Ruby, Sun or Moon.

Feel like I'm missing something rather than Roms not working OR is this a larger issue?
