Advice following a house viewing
Hi wonderful helpful folk!
I'm hoping for some advice following a house viewing today (First time buyers). We went into the viewing knowing the house required some completion of projects the current owners had begun, however there were no images of the above included on the listing.
If possible could anyone please advise if the above cracks found on the landing /ceiling as well as around a landing window are just an old house settling (they look like there is old patchwork/filler surrounding them) or are a sign of more significant issues. I wonder if the damage near the window is simply from its installation.
For context, it is a 1930s-40s house, with no apparent cracks on the external walls.
We wouldnt mind a project that takes time to complete, but do not want to buy an absolute money pit. If we were to offer, we would of course get the relevant surveys done. I guess this post is to help decide if it should even go that far.
Any and all help greatly appreciated, this house stuff can be pretty daunting!
