I am playing acoustic guitar since 4 years. In starting months I regularly used pick but as i became good in playing leads I stopped playing with pick and started learning while playing with my finger only. I usually obsessed with fingerstyle and casually sing sometime but while strumming with finger the guitar sound becomes very low and whenever I use pick i can do the downstroke easily with controlled intensity of hitting the strings but while doing upstroke I don't know what happens wrong the sound becomes harsh and also it comes with loud sound. Help me plz
