Screwed up writing 🥀

For Task 2, the topic was about obesity and eating habits. I wrote around 500 words. My argument was that humans evolved in conditions where food was not always available, but modern mass production has made high-calorie processed foods cheap and easily accessible. I also discussed how foods rich in sugar and unhealthy fats can encourage overeating. In the solutions section, I argued that moderate and sustainable calorie deficits are more effective than extreme fasting because strict diets often lead to relapse.
My main concern is Task 1.
The chart compared government spending percentages with participation rates among 18–24 year olds. I described the main trends and highlighted that some countries had higher spending but lower participation, while others had lower spending but higher participation.
However, I also went beyond the data. I mentioned that percentages alone may not tell the full story because the actual number of people could differ depending on population size. I also suggested that the difference between spending and participation might be related to factors such as awareness, education, advertising, or whether young people knew about the opportunities available to them.
I wrote about 300 words for Task 1 and around 500 for Task 2. I completed both tasks and had time to check my work. I did not notice any major spelling mistakes, although I'm sure there were some errors I missed.
Does the fact that I speculated about the reasons behind the data suggest that I misunderstood Task 1?
