Questions about my upcoming PC upgrade
My current build consists of:
GPU: GTX 1660 Ti 6GB
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X
RAM: 16GB DDR4 2133MHz
Motherboard: ASUS Prime X570-Pro
HDD: 2TB
SSD: Samsung 980 PRO 1TB|
Power Supply: Corsair RM750
Case: Thermaltake V250 TG ARGB Air (just the front panel is glass)
Monitor: ViewSonic 24 Inch 1080p 1ms 144Hz
What I plan to purchase:
(Microcenter Bundle, which consists of):
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 16GB DDR5-6000 (1 stick)
Motherboard: ASUS B650E Max Gaming Wi-Fi
GPU: PNY RTX 5060Ti 8GB Dual Fan OC
Monitor: AOC 27 Inch Curved 1080p 0.3ms 280Hz
(Total upgrade cost of ~$900)
Now, for my questions:
Will the parts I picked be compatible with my old parts & my motherboard?
Are there better alternatives I could pick? (Especially for the GPU, I see people say that the 8GB is not enough, and I also see many variations of the 5060Ti on Amazon.)
Would I be fine to purchase the GPU early, as it can be shipped, and put it in my current PC? (For the bundle, I must go pick it up in person.)
Would my PC be lacking in any region?
What would be a good CPU cooler & thermal paste to go with the new core?
If anyone could answer any of these questions, I would highly appreciate it. Thank you! ^^
