Increased from 15-20 mg On day 5 of the increase and struggling from ridiculous anxiety
I've been on Lexapro since August now after a visceral bout of anxiety and panic - couldn't sleep, work, was shaking, no eating, rumination, running thoughts, vomiting, etc. I finally got on lexapro and doubled it with medication because I was at my wits end and was worried that death was at my door. It took a few months but the change was drastic after I finally got over the initial symptoms. Now, my doctor has slowly inched me up until I am now at 20 mg. It's currently day 11 of the increase and my symptoms are much more aggressive than when I first went onto Lexapro. I had my first anxiety attack in months. Now, it is compounded with the following that all happened AFTER they upped my dose within a week
I just had to get on antibiotics for a UTI and am taking that alongside
My parents just announced they're getting divorced
To be honest, I don't even know what I'm asking for with this - maybe just some reassurance from others who've gone from 15 to 20 mg that fought through the side effects and came out on the other side. I just feel like I'm going insane right now
