I need help with my VTX setup. I am getting a very poor signal and Betaflight isn't communicating with the VTX.
The Issues:
- Betaflight: Device ready:
FALSE, VTX Type:Unknown. - Video: The image is only black and white, it flickers/stutters, and there is no OSD at all.
The Setup:
- FC: SpeedyBee F405 V5
- VTX: TBS Unify Pro32 5G8 HV
- Connection: VTX Data wire is on TX3.
What I have already done:
- Re-soldered and checked all wires/connections.
- Held the VTX button for 20 seconds to ensure it's unlocked/out of pitmode.
- Set UART3 to
VTX (TBS SmartAudio)in the Ports tab. - Selected the correct VTX Table preset.
- Tested with a LiPo plugged in.
I have a video feed, so the VTX is transmitting, but the quality is terrible and the FC doesn't seem to talk to it or overlay the OSD. Any ideas on what could be causing this combination of issues?
