Y’know how in the 74th games it mentions how if a tribute steps off the platform too early then they explode but it’s not a big explosion to not affect others. In the 74th games Katniss mentions that a girl once dropped her wooden ball token and she exploded but in the 50th games Panache takes off his jacket and nothing happens. Also they are trying to make a bomb to explode the mutt cage, so why would they teach him if they already sent him in an arena with bombs? I feel like I answered my own question but idk, just smth that makes you think

I thought about Finnick recently and then thought of this, because genuinely why didn’t he? I think he’s handsome and funny. Not to mention Haymitch was the victor of probably the hardest hunger games considering there was double the amount of tributes. Plus, I can see Snow forcing him into prostitution just to make him suffer a little more for all the damage he’s done and rebeling. I’m having a trouble thinking of a reason Haymitch wasn’t sold, I could’ve forgotten if it mentioned it but I don’t think it did or am I missing something?

Edit: Omg it was so obvious I think I was just blindly reading during that part lol

Don’t take any of these the wrong way this is what I mean:

Season 1: Left pic I was thinking it looked like Nell was glued to the Tv screen while eating. Right pic is dancing becuz it was a good season overall

Season 2:Left pic becuz it was kinda tragic and the right pic is bc it was good and I was happy with it.

Season 3: Left pic was because I was stunned and kinda grossed out and the right pic is because I was also very very happy with this season.

Season 4: good season but it was just terrifying which is why both pics are scared and disturbed.

Season 5: I just thought it was yucky as in a bad script and writing than the last seasons.

in the mockingjay we see a District 2 victor named Lyme who is helping attack the nut. it was mentioned that the victors were targeted by both sides, The Capitol who thought they were rebels, and the Rebels who thought they supported the Capitol. At the voting there are a remaining pool of victors but not Lyme. She seems way smart to have died and we don’t even know what happened and it makes me mad.
