Recently got married. Tried penetration, it did not even fully went it. Hurt so bad. Didnt try again, i went to the gynaecologist. Everything was anatomically normal, i still have the hymen ring still very much intact, which makes the opening of my vagina smaller. But the doctor said im too tense, and if i am not then intimacy should not be painful. She recommended a therapist, but its not insured and i dont have the money.

Does anybody have advice? Should i start small with like tampons or something? How to not feel tense and relax?
