Kong is a perfect example of the difference.
On the Surface, on Skull Island, he's a moving mountain, crashing toward places.
But in the Hollow Earth, he's more comparable to a human as the mountains and trees are bigger than him.
Not sure if the flair fits but it’s whatever
Imagine Co-Cai emerging on Skull Island after the events of “Kingdom Kong” and GvK to find everything on the island is dead and abandoned. 😢

God it would be so peak to have these 3 as a trio together for team up movies but I guess Legendary are too afraid of peak.
Seems like Legendary are going to stay with that 3-4 months before the film releases marketing strategy.

Previously Sean Konrad had said Godzilla’s spine change was due to damage in the 2014 film which he stated was a mistake.
I was recently rewatching Slicks Titan War animation and it got me wishing we got a proper fight similar to this between Skar and Godzilla in GxK.
Having Skar move similarly to this against Godzilla and even wounding him would’ve sold the idea that he’s threat even by himself even if not to the same level as Ghidorah, MG, or the Jinshin Mushi.
Skar could have had fight against Godzilla in Rio where he outsmarts him and breaks Godzilla's Arm, to show that, he may not be able to pierce his Armor or make him Bleed, but he still does how to hit his weak spots and disable his Limbs one by one.
