What if we had a plant-based antagonist like biollante That was the Earth's natural defense? How would you introduce a Titan like this into the monsterverse? Remember in the hollow Earth we have tree mimics, hollow Earth fly traps and vine wranglers So I don't think we should take the toho route but we need a unique way this Titan would exist in the monsterverse

Red Stripe Scouts vs Camazotz & his hellswarm horde.
Setting: While they were chasing Kong away from Skar Kings layer some of the red stripes fell down into the caves and survived the fall. Inside the cave lives the hell swarm horde and Camazotz waiting on the day to rise up and take over hollow Earth.
I understand that Kong has king because it has been protecting those people on that island. But Ghidorah, what it did that makes it a king?

This scene crushes me inside, but it's so good for it. Mothra having no fear when it comes to protecting Godzilla is perfect, she knows she'll be reborn good as new. Godzilla openly mourns for her regardless, showing how he does care for her just as she does for him

I think GvK is a great film and I also think it does a great job of including more of the crazy showa era like concepts and action while still keeping the original vibe of the series.
It manages to have more crazy monster action while still keeping their sense of weight and scale. Even in Hollow Earth Kong and everything else still managed to feel huge.
Would I have preferred if GvK had a tone and atmosphere similar to KOTM? Absolutely, but I think GvK is the perfect balance, had TNE been more like GvK I definetly would have liked it alot more.
But thats just me.
Don't get me wrong, I know Godzilla didn't do this like he did to Ghidorah in Boston because gvk wouldn't happen if he did, but the knowledge that he *could* have done this and not only would've not had to fight Kong really but also Mecha G wouldn't get the hollow earth energy at least not nearly as easily is just really funny to me
I think that Godzilla was referred to "The Titan who ate a star" by Iwi because Godzilla defeated and imprisoned Ghidorah, his arch enemy. In the movie, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, when Ghidorah's real name was revealed by Doctor Chen, it was briefly stated that Ghidorah was a force that consumed Gods and Humans alike, "A Star".
