This is a question that many of us asked to each other already, and this is no different... kinda-ish. Like what the title says, I wanna hear your ideas for MV projects after Supernova, in a more plausible and realistic route. So i wanna share some ideas that i have here.

NOTE: When say ''plausible and realistic'', I mean in terms of the route they're going for releases, not on the Tone.

• Survival Prequel/Spin-Off film: It's set during the Mass Awakening of KOTM, and follows a civilian surviving an attack in their city, encountering invading Super-species, dangerous survivors, and a Titan who is rooming around the city.

The film is inspired mostly on Resident Evil 2, and the game Kong: Survivor Instinct, telling an urban-level story; It doesn't have Godzilla neither Kong due to the setting, but the main Titan is one of the 17 that were introduced in KOTM.

• Expedition Solo/Spin-Off film: It is set years ahead of it's release date, and focuses on a Monarch Expedition team tracking down a missing Monarch vessel. However, they enter in an unknown ecosystem unlike any seen before in the Franchise. Now, they have a new mission: Survive.

Inspirations: The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Peter Jackson's King Kong, Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey and Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim.

• Kong Special Project: This one is to celebrate the character's 100 years, Idk if it's a Game or a Film, personally I'd like it to be a game. It focuses on Kong's new life in the Hollow Earth leading his tribe, but he encounters himself in a conflict involving a new enemy, threatening the peace in the HE and potentially the surface aswell.

The main inspirations are the God of War Norse Saga games, aswell as Black Myth: Wukong, having a narrative and aesthetic similar to Dawn and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes films.

• Mothra Solo film: Now this is a project that has a lot of potential. This is the most mythological and spiritual MV film ever. It's a time-period film, set in the early 60s and flashbacks set in Ancient China, and it's centered around the Chen Family, focusing on their relationship with Mothra.

Personally, Idk who could be the villain, but I'd say it could be either Battra or Dagahra. It is inspired by Chinese Mythology and also a bit on Mothra's classic and her Heisei/Rebirth of Mothra trilogy mythos. It introduces new Titans that are inspired by Mythological creatures and deities in Chinese Mythology.

• New Monarch TV Show: A direct sequel to the Expedition film. The first season is set shortly after the film's events, it focuses on the survivors of that ecosystem discovering and combating new Superspecies that are appearing around the world mysteriously, while at the same time they face the government, and a new rival organization that are the ''successors'' of APEX.

This is, atleast for me, what I expected Monarch: Legacy of Monsters to be a little bit. It takes inspiration on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and on the Primeval TV Series. Each season releases in two and two years.

• Non-linear Investigative Show: The show focuses on a Veteran Monarch Field Agent and his Apprentice/Replacement who's a Rookie at Monarch as they investigate strange events happening in a small town in the Western of the U.S., being set in three different time periods.

1. Set shortly before or after the events of Supernova, probably in 2029. It is inspried on Lanterns and True Detective.
2. Set in the late 80s, it focuses on the younger version of the Veteran and on their older Partner, they investigate a dead body of a Titan near the small Town. Inspired by The Batman and Seven.
3. Set many years after the events of the town (shortly after the Monarch Show), the now older Rookie returns to the town as he discovers that this case is not done yet, as he finds himself in a conspiracy that links Monarch, the Town, the dead Titan in the 80s, and the government. It is inspired by Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Logan.

• Animated Anthology Miniseries: It is an animated series with each episode being set in different time periods, focusing on the relationship between Humans and Titans. The Titans that appear are either those who we are already familiar with, or completely new ones.

I was thinking of each episode having a different art style under the Spider-Verse/Arcane animation style, reflecting on the time period, but I think it'd be better if different animation studios did each episode.

• Prequel Monarch Show: It is an seasonal anthology series. Based on the Monarch Timeline of the KSI and KOTM marketing, but having some creative liberties. The first season is set in 1952, and focuses on a Monarch Operator traveling to London to uncover strange activity, partening with a British Scientist and Monarch's UK branch. The events end up in The Great Smog of London.

Particularly for this first season, it is inspired by IT: Welcome to Derry.

• Godzilla Solo Film: One we've been waiting for a long time now, it marks the beginning of a new Trilogy focused on our King of the Monsters. There's not much of the story to tell, but follows a similar path to KOTM. Being inspired by Godzilla Minus One and Shin Godzilla, it is a darker and gritty sci-fi thriller.

PHEW! That concludes some of the project ideas I had, they're not perfect, but it's how I see the franchise would be going. Anyway, I'm waiting to see what are your ideas for future MV projects! Is it in a similar way I've went, or a bit more bold?

I'm making this post in a very simple, ''lazy'' and ''tired'' way. The Jurassic Franchise has a special place in my heart, the first film that i've ever watched was The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It was basically responsible for making me who i am today, and i'm grateful for that.

I have watched all of the movies, and i love all of them, even the most weakest ones, but i cannot deny that it has many flaws, and also wasted potential, but either way, i enjoy all of them. Recently i started to see more videos of people talking about how the franchise downgraded, specially after Rebirth.

It is fine to hear other people's opinions, and they do have a point, but at the same time, i feel hopeless for the franchise now. We're gonna have a new film that probably won't have a great story, but everyone will go see it because of our love of Dinosaurs, it'll make money, and they'll do another film over and over again. Without going further on having better ideas and just, try to repeat the same thing of the first film.

I have a wish to make a Jurassic film, either as a writer or a Director, i have great ideas for the franchise, and saw other people's ideas that i would love to see in the films. But at the same time tho, i'm not feeling excited the way i used to anymore. People are saying that it's best if they just rebooted the franchise or even make a remake of the first film, which i am deeply against it.

For me, the first film is a timeless masterpiece who provoked a feeling that no other film in the franchise had managed to redo again, in my opinion. And also, i'm an artist and i value other people's work, and seeing that the work of the people behind them aren't valorized enough makes me sad, even if the result isn't perfect, they did the best they could.

Anyway, this is just a post of me just, i don't know, putting out some of my feelings and frustrations that i'm having right now. Say what you think of it, or... if the franchise, still has hope. Bye. :)

The current state of the franchise is very complicated, specially with the movies. So i wanna ask what do you want to see in the future. What productions you'd like to be made?

Personally, i would love a prequel TV Show showing Hammond and Lockwood's younghood when they created InGen. Showing the process of making the first Dinosaurs. They can even add Saint-Hubert in all of this!

Personally, i think Dominion is a very fun and enjoyable film, but sure, it had a lot of potential wasted, specially involving the Dinosaurs. There were things that i wish were explored in it, so i want to show what i wish there was in the film:

• The film instead is released and set in 2023. Pre-historic creatures from different Periods (such as Gorgonopsids, Scutosaurus, Smilodons, Mammoths, Terror Birds, Megatherium, Cave Bears, Megalodons, Dunkleosteus, Deinosuchus etc) start to be brought back to life all around the world. But they don't take away the focus on the Dinosaurs;
• The Locusts are foreshadowed in the beginning. The World Characters mention sometimes the situation about the Locusts throughout the film. Connecting the storyline of the OG Characters;
• Hexapod Allies (Giant Locusts) would still be in the film, i thought it was interesting to show a threat different from Dinosaurs, but i would also add Theropod Axis from Chaos Theory. It would have the same role as the show, it was originally made by Dr. Wu to use Dinosaurs for search and rescue, based on Owen Grady's work in IBLIS Program, but Dodgson distorted it to train the Animals as Bio-weapons, selling them in Malta's Black Market;
• The new group (Owen, Claire and Kayla) would go to Biosyn not only to rescue Maisie and Beta, but also put an end to Theropod Axis, after they find out more about it in Malta's Black Market. Making Owen's character arc full circle, since the beginning he was against of their use in war;
• Both parties (the Park and World groups) have their own plotlines, the OG to find out more about the Locusts, and the New characters to recue Maisie and Beta, while also taking down Theropod Axis. Both have their reasons, but they collide in one source: Biosyn, making their encounter more reasonable and interesting;
• At the end of the film, the characters would find out that Dodgson was the one responsible for Jurassic Park's downfall, for the original trio's trauma, and be the ''reason'' why everything in the franchise happened. Dodgson would also reveal that he used Maisie and Beta's kidnapping not only to ''fix'' the Locusts, but also to attract Owen's attention, so that he could be a trainer for Theropod Axis, since he's the only human who succesfully managed to train these animals;
• After the revelation and Owen's refuse, Dodgson would release an Utahraptor to hunt down the characters in the Research Facility while they try to escape, it would be a scene with Alien vibes;
• Biosyn's valley would not only be a Sanctuary to all Dinosaurs around the world, but also be where they kept some Dinosaurs that were used as weapons until they are used again. Such as the Giganotosaurus, who would used to ''help'' the DFW to capture Rexy, making their rivalry deeper than just a ''ancestral rivalry.''

Now, this ain't perfect, but these are stuff that i wish it happened. Adding Theropod Axis would be a full circle for the Trilogy, since from the beginning it was exploring the possibility of using the Animals for war.

Owen's involvement would be a reference to the character Nick (that was later reshaped into Owen) from the scrapped Jurassic Park 4 story, where he was forced to be a trainer to the Hybrid Dinosaurs with Humans.

After Rebirth came out, many new details were revealed, such as concept art, original ideas, deleted scenes etc. One in particular that seems to have got many people's attention, which is that originally in the story, Ile Saint-Hubert was owned by Biosyn, instead of InGen.

Biosyn managed to recreate Dinosaurs to look exactly the same as how they were before Extinction. They used the Dino's own DNA to fill the gap on the genomes to bring them to life through unknown ways, as it was shown in Dominion.

I'm saying this because the Tyranosaurs, Spinosaurus and Mosasaurus in Rebirth look ''75% Paleo-accurate''. These three seem more accurate in-universe than what InGen made, either by appearance or in their capacities. Also, the Quetzalcoatlus was originally going to be an Thanatosdrakon, but it changed to Quetzal during production. And in the film, the dead Parasaurolophus near Ember was an Biosyn specimen.

But the main question is... why whould Biosyn have that Island? Why would they create something like the Mutadons or even the Distortus Rex? I mean sure, they could have used the Island to create the first ''Paleo-accurate'' Dinosaurs but it went wrong, and although i wanted to see more of Biosyn, i can't deny that it wouldn't make sense for them to have the Island if in early production of the film, they already were thinking on Biosyn and the Mutants.

So... what you guys think? IF Biosyn replaced InGen to own St. Hubert, why would they have it? Any Interesting Ideas?

Does anybody know where the heck this quote originated from? I remember there's also an creepy audio of someone saying that fully terrified, and many believed that this is a quote from the Book. I had my doubts but then i researched it, and it doesn't exist. But i wonder where it came from, who made that audio? Anybody know?

I know this has already been discussed many times before, but recently i saw one of Swrve's videos and i wanna say how the franchise can ''undo'' one of Rebirth's biggest mistake: Kill the Dinosaurs on the mainland, and they went to equatorial regions. But what could be the explanation of it? How could the next film fix Rebirth's mistake? Simple, Propaganda.

In Rebirth, there's an animated short film explaining that due to Earth's current climate, the Dinosaurs were dying slowly, and they moved to equatorial regions where it's conditions were more similar to that 66 millions of years ago. But... that doesn't make sense! These are Clones, their biology are far different from those of their original counterparts.

And that's where the propaganda comes in. In Swrve's video, he explores the idea of the Governments lying to the general public about the Dinosaurs dying due to climate. I decided to give more layers, by bringing back the Weaponized Dinosaurs theme, and get it's potential more explored. Where the Dinos were being used by the Governments on Warfare, and on operations to hunt down and kill other Dinos, to make Humanity retake it's crown as Apex species.

Personally, i thought it was a very interesting idea, and could fix Rebirth's information. It makes sense cuz in the film, it isn't further explained as to how the Dinos are dying, only that it was the weather's fault or something. Now i know that there could be other reasons, like diseases for example, it kinda makes sense but again, these are clones, so their biology is different, and if that was one of the reasons, they could even add in the film... but they didn't!

So i wanna ask what do YOU think the next film could fix Rebirth's mistake?

I just saw a Swrve video on YT on how the next Jurassic film can fix one of Rebirth's biggest mistakes, which is: the Dinos on the mainland died due to the climate, and go to equatorial regions. I'm not going to discuss that much further, but i wanna explore an idea that i've had for Jurassic 8 based a bit on Swrve's video. This is:

Jurassic World: Collusion.

Now, i won't tell much of how the story would go, but i can say it's inspirations, and plot:

• It is inspired by Chaos Theory, more specifically the thriller/conspiracy genre, and a bit on John Sayles' scrapped story for Jurassic Park 4 (not the Human-Dinosaur hybrid);
• It'll follow a group of characters uncovering the truth about how and why were the Dinosaurs dying on the mainland;
• They'll find out that the Governments had lied to the public all along, and they were secretly using Dinosaurs as weapons to hunt down and kill other Dinos on the mainland due to many issues, but mostly for their own profit;
• It'll have more Dinosaur moments, where they are both beautiful, and also very VERY Scary.

It is a very basic idea storyline, but if it's well executed and it's potential explored, it can become a success. And i know that it runs a bit off of the franchise's premise, and deviating the focus of the Dinosaurs a bit, but again, if it's well executed, it can be good.

As for the Dinos dying on the mainland, and migrating to equatorial regions, i'll do a seperate post, but what i can say is that it doesn't make sense at all, since they're clones, and their biology is totally different from their original coutnerparts, they're adapted to survive our planet's modern climate. Dominion showed us a bit of this. Of course, there can be other reasons, such as diseases, but the film didn't even explained further that.

Anyway, i wanna know what you guys think of my idea, and what are YOUR ideas for the next Jurassic film, i'm very curious. Peace out. :)

Monarch; Legacy of Monsters became one of the most well known TV series of today, either because it's a “Godzilla series”, Father and Son duo Kurt and Wyatt Russell playing the same character, or because it takes place in two different time periods at the same time. One in the modern days, and the other in the 50s.

I though the concept of a show shifting from one period to another very interesting, although some might get lost with the shiftings. Recently i found out that True Detective has a similar format to Monarch, so i wanted to ask for those who know if there are more TV Shows that has this “Time Shift” format like Legacy of Monsters. :)

This is something that i've been wondering for a while now. And i wanted to ask what makes a script so good. Is it the depth that it gives the characters, a full circle story, reduced writers? I wanna know.

I've seen some people wanting more Solo projects in the Monsterverse, but some said that it is unlikely that it will happen, either because no one would want to watch it due to not knowing stuff, or put the blame on KOTM for being a flop.

Personally, i think that we should have more solo movies, either focused on Kong, Godzilla, or even a new storyline without the two of them, and i think that if Legendary keeps going on this route of crossovers, it'll just show how dependent they are of them, and throw away the opportunity for continuity, world building, and good character writing, just to have dumb fun actions, leaving to the TV shows. Not saying that the dumb fun genre is bad, but i think that if overused, it'll go down the hill very soon.

Either way, i wanna know other people's opinion about this. Would you rather have more and more Crossovers involving Godzilla and Kong, or more Solo films, without the ''world ending threat'' premise and have isolated stories, and focusing on more interesting stories, wouldbuilding, and good characters?

Hello, i'm an almost 20-year-old Brazillian who has a dream to make Sci-Fi/Horror/Monster Films, inspired by my favourite films and their filmmakers, and right now i'm in very early development of my first debut film, which is a low-budget!

The plan is to release it in major film festivals next year and with luck get the attention of big studios, the only issue is... i don't know which film festivals. If anybody has any good recomendations, i'm all ears! :)

It's established in Rebirth that most of the remain living Dinosaurs are now living in equatorial regions that the climate resembles that of the time they were still alive. Most of these regions are islands like Saint-Hubert. So i wonder: What are these other places that the Dinosaurs are living? Does Biosyn's sanctuary also count despite not being in the equator?

This has already been discussed, but i cannot deny that i'm still curious to know what happened to Biosyn's sanctuary.

I know that after Dominion's events, it's explained that the UN stablished the sanctuary as a worldwide place where the Dinos can live in peace with Human absence. BUT in Rebirth, it's explained that most of the remaining Dinos are now in equatorial places, specially islands.

So, if that's the case, then the Sanctuary was shut down, and all Dinos in there were taken to somewhere else like Saint-Hubert?

There's SO MANY things that the franchise can explore further that i definitely want to see. Like for an example, corporate espionage, black market, Titan weaponize, super-species around the world, ecosystems at risk, political conspiracy etc.

I know it's kinda weird to compare, but everytime i watch a Jurassic franchise film, specially Dominion, and i see stuff like these i listed above, i really wish that we had more in the Monsterverse. We might have had these in the past, but as far as i remember, either it wasn't well executed, or it isn't even remembered.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters has so much potential to explore stuff that were stablished in KOTM, and it did a good job at bringing back Apex Cybernetics to explore the corporation even more, specially with the Titan weaponizing plot and May acting like a Spy for Tim, but it wasn't well executed in my opinion.

Most of these stuff that i listed are Human related, and I KNOW that people are more interested in the Titans, but i bet that there's people like me who also want to see more Human related stories to explore this new World where Giant Monsters roam free. In short, Worldbuilding.

What i'm trying to say is: What do YOU want to see in the Monsterverse? Either it's Titan related or Human related.

I know that many might have already questioned that, and probably many has answered that it depends on what film you're making.

But i wanna hear other people's experience with their debut films, specially when they're low budget.

Does anybody know what are Shaw's type of clothes names? Including his gloves in Alaska. Are they exlusively for the show, or are they for sale? I really liked these outfits that he used in season 1.

I know it sounds random, and probably unrelevant, but does anybody know what are Shaw's outfits names? Are they exlusively for the show, or are they for sale? I really liked these outfits that he used in season 1.

Recently Tory Tunnell, one of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters executive producers was interviewed and was questioned about Season 3, Shaw's spin-off, and including Axis Mundi's ''Time Travel'' properties. Here's an excerpt of her statement:

''[...] it's not Time Travel, it's not something where you're able to go anywhere in time, like we're going to go to the Jurassic era or, you know, do anything like that. But it's something that our characters are going to be able to step into and try to figure out if they understand what it is, how it works. [...]''

Axis Mundi's Time properties has been one of the many debates of the franchise, specially after Season 2 episode 7, and some believe that it breaks the Monsterverse. I think that this Tory Tunnell's statement might have been a confirmation that Time Travel does not exist in the franchise.
