Separation from spouse

My wife has been waiting on a hotline decision for about 2 months now. I already have orders to Fort Irwin and I PCS there in August. She only has about 20 days left to reenlist or she’ll ETS in September.

She’s currently trying to get orders to Fort Irwin through the hotline. We’ve gone back and forth with BDE Retention and Branch trying to see if, worst case, she reenlists for needs of the Army if Branch can at least guarantee Fort Irwin, but nobody seems to want to give a straight answer.

Right now we’re trying to figure out the best move because there’s a chance she may ETS when Iv’e PCS’d and come live with me afterward as a civilian spouse.

My questions are:

Will Fort Irwin allow me to receive BAH/get housing when I PCS there in August if I’m married, even if she isn’t there yet?

If she ETS’s in September, will the Army send her back to her Home of Record automatically?

Main concern is she has no family left and nowhere to really go if she ETS’s before we get everything figured out. And if Irwin requires me to live in the barracks she cannot come straight to me.

We are in Korea BTW

RECLASS

BSEP did me justice. I plan on going from 25u to 68P. Any 68p’s here can share light on the mos. How stressful is AIT.

For everyone else what job did you reclass out of for a higher QOL that transfers to the Civilian world.
