Help needed: injured bird at Lincoln Park

Help needed: injured bird at Lincoln Park

Hi everyone!

I was walking in Lincoln park today and came across a black crow with a broken leg. It was able to fly about two feet but there was visibly something wrong with one of their legs, and it struggled to really get off the ground.

I reached out to the PAWS Wildlife rehabilitation center (https://www.paws.org/wildlife/) and they informed me the only way the crow can get help is if someone is able to capture & bring the crow to the center. I am unfortunately unable to do so myself but wanted to post here in case anyone has the materials or ability to transport the bird to the center. The people from PAWS encouraged me to post on reddit to see if there is another good samaritan who is willing & able to help.

The bird is located just west of softball field #3. It was last seen perched on the ground near the trail (shown in the photo, the bird is circled in red).

Thank you so much if you're able to help! Happy to respond to any further questions.
