How people view Shiv after the finale is an IQ test in my opinion.

People only hate her because she prevented the main character from getting what he wanted. Because we’re so used to stories ending with our main character winning. And yet episode after episode, we are shown how incapable Kendall was for the role of CEO. He was delusional, always making dumb uninformed decisions on a whim, ignoring the counsel of those around him and whenever he failed he resorted to substance abuse which led to a lot of detriment and even death. If you watched Succession in full and thought Kendall deserved to take over then I’m afraid you weren’t paying attention. People hate Shiv so much for doing the right thing, arguably the only honorable thing she did in the entire show. People hate her more for this than for what she did in Season 2 episode 9. Like, why did you want Kendall to take over? How did he prove himself to you as valid for the role throughout show? What did he do that was so outstanding that it washed away all the arguments against him taking over?

The sweet

‘So, you end up with a NotSelf Projector, you end up with a being that's always looking for the sweet; always, always. Always looking for the sweet leads to all kinds of addictions: drug addictions, alcohol addictions, sex addictions, you name it! All kinds of things… to find the sweet; they're always looking for that sweet! When they don't get it – because it's all relative – for the NotSelf it is, you know… they're never, never, never, never satisfying! They can't be, because there is no sweet for the bitter
Projector until they are correct; it's just not there. The illusions of sweet are delusions in their lives… I mean, I would rather deal with a morose Projector than deal with one that's caught in the illusion of sweetness! Because it's an illusion… when Projectors stop hunting for the sweet, they will find themselves. It's the great trap of the NotSelf Projector! It is the thing that nails the NotSelf Projector to the wall: it means that everything that they do in this life, every relationship they have, every
career, direction, you name it, all of it is looking for that one thing: to get away from the bitter! to get the sweet reward! And it's the mind that's making those decisions, it's the mind that is making this decision based on whatever the NotSelf happens to be; whatever its framework happens to be. So, the first thing to keep in mind is this whole looking for the escape from bitterness. Every Projector, every Projector, deep within them, this is the deepest theme of their NotSelf mind 'I have to escape
bitterness!' 'I have to find the sweet!'’

Watching out for the not self voices

Hey. I just wanted to come on here and share my experiences since y’all are the only ones I can talk to about this stuff. I feel unrecognized by my friends and family when I bring up human design so I stopped trying lol. It’s so funny because I can see them listening to, identifying with and making decisions based off of their not self voices. But I don’t judge them too harshly because I know the chokehold the mind has on the world at large. If they ever need my advice, they will invite me.
Anyway, I’m at that point in my experiment where I can see the not self voices and pressures of my undefined centers in my mind in real time. It’s so funny because when I think about doing something and I ask myself why? The answer is usually just the not-self voice of an undefined centre. And I have so many (seven) so it’s lowkey a fun puzzle trying to match a pressure with an undefined centre. For example I want to start a business or project. Immediately I ask myself why. To prove that I can! (Undefined ego) I should keep hanging out with this one friend who clearly doesn’t recognize me. Why? Because he makes me feel good and I want to hold onto that good feeling. (Undefined spleen) Sometimes I have to ask why multiple times before I can get to the not self voice that is empowering the thought and pressure. Doing this has helped me let go of these thoughts and stop identifying with them and mistaking them for a wave (thank God for my authority for it has consistently stopped me from making these decisions) and at the same time has helped me identify my true feelings and desires (41/30) And my true self feels significantly different from my not self it’s impressive. It feels cleaner, less urgent, less pressure, a lot more grounded.
Has anyone else experimented with this and how did it look like for you?

Why didn't Mencken honor his agreement with Roman?

It can't just be because Mattson offered a US CEO? Right? Why is that necessarily appealing to him? Why does that easily change his mind?
