First post! Coming from Canada 🇨🇦 — What 4–5 Montagne fragrances are must-buys?
Hey everyone!
I’ve been a lurker in this amazing community for a while, and I’m finally making my first post! 😁
I’m coming from Canada, so getting my hands on Montagne fragrances isn’t the easiest or cheapest thing. I’ll have room to bring back only 4–5 bottles in my checked luggage, so I really want to make those spots count!
My taste leans toward woody, masculine, leather-heavy scents — something bold, distinctive, rich, and ideally with great performance. I love fragrances that have character and don’t smell generic. For reference, some of my current favourites are Le Labo Santal 33, Tom Ford Ombre Leather, Dior Sauvage Elixir, Riffs Montana Absolu, and Jo Malone Hinoki & Cedarwood. So, if you could pick just 4–5 Montagne fragrances that you think are absolute must-haves, what would they be? They don’t all have to be leather scents — I’m open to other profiles as long as they’re masculine, interesting, and worth owning.
I’d especially love to hear about any hidden gems that don’t get enough attention, as well as your thoughts on longevity and projection. If you were in my shoes and could bring back only 4–5 bottles, which ones would make your list? And please tell me why! Thanks in advance, everyone. Looking forward to finally joining the conversation! 🙌🇨🇦
