Looking for Decants to Try.

Hello, I'm going into my 3rd year of college and started to get into fragrances this year. I'm looking for a couple decants to try from MD before ordering a full bottle.

I'm not really sure what scents/notes I really like yet, so I'm kind of searching blind. Ideally, I just want some clean/fresh/aquatic scents that I can wear for the summer or scents that I can wear for the fall. I've already tried AD and wasn't a huge fan of how strong the citrus was in the decant.

Also, I want decent longevity/projection but not anything that people in my classes would find offensive or to distracting.

Need your expertise for my blind buy! Fruity and Juicy

Hello! It seems you guys really know montagne given your posts and collections here.

I need something to layer my cloud. I smelled an unofficial flanker that was juicier but had DNA of the cloud.

Does anyone know what would be the best Montagne perfume that have juicy and fruity, and perhaps have 1-2 notes of the following

(Pear, coconut, praline, whipped cream)?

Finally gave MD a chance

Made my first order from Ayb and man his customer service is top notch. Reached out to me on my shipping concern and even with an estimated to to ship. The Montagne Tracker is back online! (New URL + Important Info)

Hey everyone! I noticed some of you were asking about the Montagne Tracker (www.codeproject.work) being down over the last few days.

Unfortunately, my custom domain expired recently. Since this was a side project I built last year and haven't actively updated since, I decided not to renew the paid domain. However, I didn't want to leave you guys hanging!

I’ve redeployed the site using Vercel's free hosting. You can now access the tracker here:

A few important notes for existing users:
Your Data is Safe: The database is completely intact. All of your profiles, saved items, and wishlists are fully preserved. You do not need to create a new account, just log in as you normally would.

Action Required (Email Alerts): As part of the move, Email Notifications have been disabled by default for all users. If you want to continue receiving alerts, please head over to your Account Settings and manually toggle them back on.

For anyone new here: this is a free tool I put together last year to monitor Montagne Parfums inventory in real-time. You can use it to get notified immediately when your wishlist items are back in stock. It's just a hobby side project, but I hope you still find it useful!

Pineapple BonBon

White tea

Any suggestions for a white tea frag, I’m specifically looking for the smell of a Westin hotel lobby. The closest I’ve found is Elizabeth Arden’s white tea but it’s still not hitting the mark for me.

Decant haul review

Here are my thoughts on my recent decant order, from an untrained, unsophisticated nose. Shout out to Ayyb for including 3 samples that I did not even order! This was really just to test out some of Montagne's newer releases without any plans on buying something, since I already have filled my shelves. So I'm being extra picky here.

Mojave Spirit - Reminds me of a pretty girl's shampoo. There's a note in here that is a little different and unique, maybe the magnolia? Fruity and floral but not really sweet. I've smelled the original in the past and it's very similar.

Mojave Spirit Absolu - Same as above but a little deeper and more complex. Still on the feminine side. If I were to buy one it would probably be the Absolu.

Gypsy Mist - Smells like fresh lemon/citrus with vanilla in the background. The incense is very toned down and inoffensive. Almost like vanilla absolute but not nearly as screech, heavy, or sweet. I already have a couple fragrances smiliar to this that I enjoy more though.

Azonto Absolu - Very fresh and clean. Unisex but probably leans more feminine. The non-absolu version was out of stock so I'm not able to compare. Probably my favorite out of the Byredo dupes I got though. I can't really see anyone not liking this.

Wulong Cha - Lemony, citrus tea. Arnold Palmer but fancy. Really nice and refreshing. Probably won't buy it but it was surprisingly nice.

Milky Santal - This was my favorite out of the bunch. It's like a warm hug from someone you love. Super addicting and very unisex. I don't get any "milky" vibes from it, just soft, musky, sandalwood. Might try trading something for this.

City of Lights - Straight up sunscreen. Really bad. My least favorite from the bunch. It's a no from me dawg.

Port of Neroli - Smells like a fancy cleaning product or soap but not really in good way. I also get that beachy/sunscreen vibe. I've smelled the original in the past and remember not liking that either, but it does smell very similar. The drydown was a little nicer I guess.

Port D'Azur - Super fruity and tropical. Instantly reminded me of that zebra stripe gum from the 90s. It smells good but I wouldn't want to smell like that all day personally, especially on a really hot day.

Tobacco Noir as an alternative to Herod?

PdM Herod is my favourite winter scent I've smelled. Unfortunately, for the high price, the performance leaves a lot to be desired. How close is Tobacco Noir to Herod smell wise and does it perform better?

Also, is there a way to get a fragrance shipped to a country that's not listed when selecting shipping location on Montagne's website? I'm in the EU, but my country is not on the list.
