Every such incident open the wounds of the Nirbhaya case all over again. Women marched, protested, demanded change yet women are reminded they would never feel safe in this (shitty) capital called Delhi.
Delhi today has a woman Chief Minister from a political party that has repeatedly projected itself as a champion of women's safety and dignity. And still this happened!
Nangloi is counted among the areas where criminal incidents frequently surface.. the bus reportedly kept moving around the same area for nearly an hour, and nobody stopped it. No police check, no interception, no suspicion. Someone once rightfully said, 'raat sone ke liye hai, police soti hai. Hame unki nigrani ke liye jaagte rehna hai.'
