Over-communication

I (34m) tend to over-communicate because clear communication feels natural to me, but I get frustrated when others don’t reciprocate.

For me communication means things like sending ETAs, acknowledging texts/emails, following up, closing loops, and making sure people know where things stand. If someone texts me, I usually respond quickly or at least acknowledge I saw it. If plans change, I communicate it. If I say I’ll do something, I follow back up on it.

But I'm acknowledging not everybody communicates this way how do I stop taking it personally?

TL;DR - I naturally over-communicate and get frustrated when others don’t communicate with the same level of follow up, acknowledgment, and clarity. How do I stop taking it personally?
