Just your daily reminder that Shanks Towing needs to go.

My significant other, who’s deaf, had her car towed from my complex due to her handicap place card not being hung on the rear view mirror. It had fallen and landed directly below onto the dash.

Shanks was useless and would not release the car unless we paid even though the card was clearly in view.

Last week I noticed something running around in my attic, I contacted HomeParamount and got an inspection the same day. They told me a raccoon had created multiple entry points and completely destroyed my insulation. They showed me photos of “the ruined” insulation to back up their claim and quoted me 20k for brand new insulation and to get the entry points sealed up.

After doing some digging I realized how shady they can be I decided to go with another inspection and contacted 2 Chicks & a Critter. The technicians came out same day to perform the free inspection and we came to the conclusion that HomeParamount flat out lied about the insulation and entry points (there was only one instead of the three I was told). They showed me multiple videos/pictures of my attic which showed that my insulation was no where near as damaged as what HP said.

I ended up going with 2 Chicks & a Critter for the work and I could not be happier! If anyone is looking for an honest/trustworthy wildlife and pest company, I HIGHLY recommend them.

Before I sign the lease for a loft at The Factory, does anyone have any experience with them? Pros/cons?

I have an elderly dog who needs a companion for his remaining years. I’ve been looking around at different breeds and have decided on a Pug (or something similar).

Does anyone have one or know of one currently up for adoption?
