I’m struggling to get my 20 month old and 3 year old to play outdoors lately. They’re just bored of all the toys we have in the back yard (kiddie pool, splash pad, baseball toys, lots of balls). They’ll happily play in the front yard but I don’t want to constantly hover over them to make sure they don’t run into the street (plus there’s no shade out there and the mosquitos are worse for some reason). It’s already 90 degrees here and will be 100+ all summer so I try to get them to play outside in the morning and evening but they’re fighting me on it. What toys do you all recommend to keep them interested outside? I plan on getting a playground/swingset eventually but it’s not in the budget right now.
