I present to you my submission for the 'Most Useless Tech' Award.

Basically what's happening in the clip is I'm wind charging and arrow to shoot an opponent from behind. While this could be good for stopping opponents from fleeing, it is made useless by the fact you have already be in swinging distance to even semi-reliably preform this. Maybe you could wind charge first, then bow, but then it would be super telegraphed and harder to aim.

It also works for hitting the opponent from the side, if for some reason you wanted to do that.

How would y'all design a Chunk Ban kit?

Ignoring the fact the gameplay would probably be ass and really slow, how would you design a 1v1 pvp kit around chunk banning? What sort of pvp tech do you think might come out of it? What would the meta be? Would top level players even ever use the ban items, or would it devolve into worse SMP kit?

Terms:
Ban Book - A book carrying a high amount of data, used for Bans
Ban Box - A shulker box containing 27 Ban Books, spread throughout it. Creating a Ban Box immediately causes an Area Ban for all nearby players, including the creator.
Area Ban - When a player is kicked out of the game by being too close to a Ban Box item entity. This is done within a 48 block radius of the entity, or less if the player has a lower render distance. Lasts until the item is gone.
Inventory Ban - When a player's inventory carries too much data, immediately kicking them upon joining the game. Usually, but not always done through picking up a Ban Box.
Chest Ban - Opening a chest, e-chest, shulker box or other storage block when both the player's inventory and the block together contain too much data, thus kicking the player.

For the sake of being actually playable, we'll assume the following:
- This is a duels server, not an SMP server
- The server isn't using actual Ban items, but rather is recreating them through plugins
- Being 'kicked' only puts you in spectator and paralyzes you for 5s, before you 'rejoin'
- You lose if you either get Inventory Banned or killed
- If both players are 'kicked', Ban Boxes left on the floor despawn after the players 'rejoin' once
- The Bans are how they worked before being partially patched. Back when it took 8388608 bytes to kick a player.

Notes for how Bans usually work
- A player is kicked when they have 27 or more distinct stacks of Ban Books in their inventory.
- Players only get kicked through their inventory when their inventory refreshes and the previous condition is met. Refreshes are done by either joining the game, or opening a storage block. Picking up an item, opening your inventory, and rearranging your inventory are all safe (usually).
- As an exception to the previous rule, if you pick up a fully primed Ban Box it will always kick you, leading to an Inventory Ban.
- Stack count does not care about stack size. A stack of 1 book is the same as a single stack of 16.
- Stacks inside carried shulkers count as separate stacks. If you are carrying a shulker with 26 stacks of Ban Books, and have another separate stack in your main inventory, it is viewed as 27 total and bans you.
- Opening an external inventory (chest, shulker) will count it's Ban Books as part of your inventory, whilst triggering a refresh. If you have 1 ban book, and open a chest containing 26 separate ban book stacks, it will count as 27 and Chest Ban you. As the chest does not count as your inventory when you rejoin, this is not an Inventory Ban.

The patch affects crystal as well btw

Video was created by Quelch. I found it on the FlowPvP Discord server.

Also, I saw someone claim this outright removes insta carting.

Why does attribute swapping matter for shield?

Axe's charge doesn't affect shield disables. You can disable an opponent's shield with an axe you swapped to 1 tick ago. Beyond it being 1 tick faster, why do people attribute swap then? I don't see why removing attribute swapping would ruin kits with shields, like people claim. 100% ruins mace, but Axe or UHC? I don't play shield kits, so there must be something I'm missing here.

Edit: Alright, I got my answer. Its because if they unshield you can still hit them with regular sword damage instead of the tiny uncharged axe damage. Thanks to everyone who responded.
