Lunatic Alert Downtown: Dog had a runny accident on the sidewalk…crazy guy went berserk!
My wife and I, along with our friend and her 8 year-old daughter went for a short visit downtown today just before noon (they are visiting us from Ottawa).
Our border collie is a really good girl but she’s on a lot of meds and doesn’t have long left with us due to heart failure. One of the side effects are bowel issues, and she couldn’t hold it today. It was nasty for sure, and we did our best to clean it up with a poop bag and our drink but there’s only so much you can do when it’s super liquidy on pavement.
So about 2 minutes after the accident we’re window shopping in Chinatown and this maniac comes at us yelling profanities at us at the top of his lungs! I tell him to calm down and watch his language around the little girl and he says he doesn’t give a F…continues swearing loudly in front of a lot of people, and then starts calling my wife names and the C word! He keeps going off causing a major scene.
We don’t take kindly to this and tell him to back off and calm down and told him we did our best but what else could we do.
Anyway, not looking for validation, lots of kind folks afterward came up to us and said they were sorry that that happened and agreed he’s nuts.
But if you see this guy today watch out, he’s clearly unhinged. He had long-ish hair, some chains around his neck, and is easily identifiable today with his white “I ❤️ NY” t-shirt.
He was egging me on to fight him, glad we kept our cool around this lunatic. It was a challenge for sure!
