If in other timelines, Dipper and Mabel die or go home alone, (like if Mabel went home but Dipper didnt, and vice versa)

they could lowk turn into their grunkles

Mabel could be bedridden, pretty much depressed without Dipper like in the episode Dipper and Mabel vs the Future

Mabel already thinks her life is perfect

And her obsession with staying young eventually started Weirdmaggedon

Dipper would think of Mabel every time hes free and not doing anything with Ford

Or his obsession with mysteries could eat up all his humanity, or he could push away the ppl he loves

Dont get me wrong, Mabel's breakdown when Wendy told her about high school being a horror movie is completely valid. Mabel doesnt want her life to change, because, she sees her current life as... Perfect. Her friends, her life in Gravity Falls, Dipper... Oh my.

But on the bright side, if Dipper eventually became Ford's apprentice, If both Dipper and Mabel both had phones, they could at least talk together?

Like both of them could tell eachother about life while they're apart

Worse thing is,

If they grow up and look back at their classic design items like Mabel's shooting star sweater or Dipper's vest or pine tree hat,

Worse case scenario is if they say "Why do i have this again?"

Mabel: probably looking at the sweater, not an instant feeling of nostalgia about Waddles, Candy and Grenda, Gravity Falls itself, the laughter... She just winces and throws it into a donation box without a second thought.

"This doesnt even fit anymore. I was so cringe back then."

Dipper: Surrounded by coffee mugs, messy research, and pens, he would look at his hat and not being reminded of his sister, Wendy, or searching endlessly for the author or the journals. He would just put it back in the drawer where he found it or just instantly put it in the trash.

"Oh. This old thing. Why is my chest tight? I dont even remember where i got this."
