Why KnB fans knows how real Basketball works?

Why KnB fans knows how real Basketball works?

Why are Kuroko no Basket fans probably the only ones who REALLY understand the sport?

Haikyuu and Blue Lock fans simply do not understand how the sport works, when they actually dont have even read the manga.

But Kuroko no Basket fans always seem to understand how the positions work and even what is or is not a foul in basketball.

For example, Himuro Tatsuya's Mirage Shot, everybody in this community talks about why this skill is a fault in real basketball, but nobody seems to question how inexplicable Hinata's constant quick attacks are or how unrealistic every shot from Nagi is.

But it’s not as if Kuroko’s Basketball bothers explaining rules or positions, or even aiming for realism, like Ao Ashi does, the fandom simply know how the sport works.

Can someone explain this to me?

What if Isagi were in the Wild Card? - Part 1

I’ll keep it brief and only summarize the progression of the story, since I already have most of the events and ideas planned out, but I haven’t fully developed them yet.

_

This What If starts exactly at the moment when Naruhaya misses his shot in the original story. However, in this version, he scores, meaning Isagi is inevitably eliminated, creating an even stronger rivalry between the two.

From there, we enter the Wild Card. Based on the idea that the Wild Card likely focused on physical ability and individual skills above everything else, the first challenge would be a 1v1 without a goalkeeper.

Ego explains the objective: to select players who are capable of performing individually, he created two ways to score points. The first is by getting past the line that the opponent is defending. The second is by maintaining more possession of the ball than the opponent within the given time limit.

There are also additional rules: fouls will be punished, giving 1 point to the opponent, and the ball can only remain outside the sidelines for 3 seconds. If it stays out longer, the last player who touched it loses the round and the opponent gains a point.

One player starts with the ball in the center while the other defends, and their roles switch throughout the match. The result determines the next round’s setup: the loser starts with possession, while the winner has to defend.

Isagi’s opponent would be Iemon. He has a physical advantage over Isagi, but he is still average compared to the other players, making him a challenging but realistic opponent.

The way Isagi wins would be based on the same concept Naruhaya used in the 2v2 match: creating a fake copy of other players’ abilities.

During one play, Isagi would combine different techniques he learned from others: Bachira and Chigiri’s playstyle, along with a tip from Kunigami about using a simple feint.

He uses Bachira’s dribbling concept to create an opening, then uses Chigiri’s speed-based approach by pushing the ball forward and taking advantage of the space. Finally, he applies Kunigami’s advice by spreading his arms and lowering his body during contact to avoid being knocked down.

With this, Isagi manages to cross the line and advance to the next stage, and grom this point onward, he develops a new strategy that he will continue improving throughout the Wild Card:

"Copy"

Remember this, because it will become important later.

_

Anyway, I’d like to hear your thoughts on this concept. Feel free to share your opinions in the comments.

Also, let me know if you’d like me to explain the rest of what I’ve already planned, including the conclusion of the Wild Card and what comes after it. In this version, the Neo Egoist League from the original manga wouldn’t exist, instead, there would be something completely different. Which is such an interesting concept that it was exactly what motivated me to make this post in the first place
