Dog tooth extraction healing - clot failed

Our 6-year old pyr mix had a tooth extraction 11 days ago. We noticed our dog doing a little bit of intermittent chattering after yawning a few days ago. On Monday we sent our vet a photo of the extraction site and she said it looks like there’s a dry/open socket at one part of the extraction and that it looks a little inflamed. Prescribed antibiotics and another round of Rimadyl. The vet said she’s not worried and the antibiotics should take care of any infection and the gum will continue to heal, but I am super anxious and worried. For context, she is eating normally, up and about, not 100% her normal self of course, but was being playful over the last week, and enjoying outside time, is alert etc. No swelling of the face and definitely still food motivated. Can anyone provide reassurance I feel like I’m freaking out a little. Ty 🙏 Update today is Wednesday and it looks to me like her gum has grown in more and the redness is less/gum looks more normal color and less inflamed - but still just worried

Question about sciatica and SI pain

Hi! I had a nasty bout of sciatica from Nov - March/April. My first time with sciatica, but I have a long history of back pain prior. I do have a couple herniated discs in L4-L5 and L5-S1. The sciatica is 95% resolved thank GOD (have a great PT) but I’ve been experiencing gnarly SI joint and radiating back and hip pain on the OPPOSITE side of where I had sciatica and just wondering if others have experienced this / it’s normal? I assume it’s from leaning so hard for so long onto the side with sciatica as my body naturally trying to protect itself, and as a result putting a lot of strain on the other side of my pelvis / back. I’m doing PT for that SI joint pain now and continuing to strengthen my core and hips and glutes, but dang it’s so stubborn! Any advice?
