Completed 1 month
It’s been a month with my Kylaq Signature AT, and I thought I’d share my experience.
This is my first personal car (third in the family), and so far, I’m genuinely enjoying every drive.
Most of my usage is Bangalore office commutes, weekend drives, and the occasional hometown trip. The car has met pretty much all my expectations—comfortable, easy to drive in traffic, and a great highway companion.
The only area where it pinches a bit is fuel economy.
I’m using regular E20 petrol, and these are the numbers I’m seeing:
🚦 Bumper-to-bumper traffic: 5–6 km/l
🚗 Moving city traffic: Around 8 km/l
🛣️ Open city ro**ads: 10–11 km/l **(max)
🌄 Highways: Around 15 km/l, depending on driving style
For me, it’s not a deal-breaker since I only drive about 500–600 km a month, so I can live with it.
The odometer is currently at 750 km, and I recently completed the first service/inspection. Overall, it was a smooth experience. I had a small rattle/squeaking noise from the boot, which the service team fixed during the inspection.
Overall, no regrets. The Kylaq has been a fun and confidence-inspiring first car. Looking forward to many more kilometres behind the wheel! 😊
