Rear Wheel Sidewall damage
A big pothole cut my tyre. Dealership is asking to claim insurance, I was trying to claim unconditional warranty for CEAT tyres which include sidewall damage. What are my options here?
Just a month old car :(

I have signature plus AT model ( 26.2 ) , I noticed I can't use Spotify ( online ) and Android auto navigation together. So I want to know if anyone has wifi router or some arrangements to provide internet in car , which can also be used for gps or dashcam.
Does anyone have built in sim card slot which can provide hotspot in car to use.
My prime requirement is gps and able to use Spotify and android auto navigation together
While entering my apartment through a narrow gate, the driver's door handle lightly scraped against the gate and got this paint damage. Can this be fixed with touch-up/detailing, or is repainting the only option? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
Considering the bs Ethanol confusion, I had postponed my decision to buy a Kylaq for around 1.5 months...I am losing my patience now as I need a car asap. Please help me to make a decision -- what should I do or any other options or any ideas from someone who bought recently?
Was searching for chrome alphabets for very long time now.
Finally got it done🤟🏻🧿
It’s been a month with my Kylaq Signature AT, and I thought I’d share my experience.
This is my first personal car (third in the family), and so far, I’m genuinely enjoying every drive.
Most of my usage is Bangalore office commutes, weekend drives, and the occasional hometown trip. The car has met pretty much all my expectations—comfortable, easy to drive in traffic, and a great highway companion.
The only area where it pinches a bit is fuel economy.
I’m using regular E20 petrol, and these are the numbers I’m seeing:
🚦 Bumper-to-bumper traffic: 5–6 km/l
🚗 Moving city traffic: Around 8 km/l
🛣️ Open city ro**ads: 10–11 km/l **(max)
🌄 Highways: Around 15 km/l, depending on driving style
For me, it’s not a deal-breaker since I only drive about 500–600 km a month, so I can live with it.
The odometer is currently at 750 km, and I recently completed the first service/inspection. Overall, it was a smooth experience. I had a small rattle/squeaking noise from the boot, which the service team fixed during the inspection.
Overall, no regrets. The Kylaq has been a fun and confidence-inspiring first car. Looking forward to many more kilometres behind the wheel! 😊
Today's drive: Smooth roads, gentle throttle, better mileage. 😁⛽
I have a 2025 Sig+ AT currently sitting at 9000 km. This is the mileage I was getting in my last highway run with normal E20 petrol. Also my average mileage increased by around 3 km/h in cities and hills.
These are the things I followed -
Scorpio N rear ended me on a red light. Can someone please help me with the procedure of getting my car repaired by claiming insurance?
Skoda Kylaq Prestige Plus AT
Born and brought up on the Karnataka coast, so roads like these between Kumta and Honnavar are just another day during the monsoon for me.
Years of riding in weather like this have taught me a lot. I still learn something new every now and then, but I wasn't completely new to driving when I bought my first car. This is my first car and I haven't driven many other cars extensively, but I do have 8+ years of proper touring experience on two wheels, not just commuting.
For anyone wondering why I'm holding the steering wheel so firmly, water on the road tends to pull the steering around a bit, so I prefer keeping a solid grip.
I'm driving a Škoda Kylaq here and honestly I had no issues at all. Even the wipers were perfectly adequate for this rain. Never felt the need for a faster setting.
Also, I still don't get the parking lights drama. Every time it starts raining, people switch on their parking lights as if it's mandatory. Parking lights are meant for parked vehicles, not for driving. And if someone needs headlights the moment it starts drizzling, maybe they should learn how to drive in the rain first. This is what actual Karnataka coast monsoon rain looks like.
I want to replace the horn on my Škoda Kylaq. I checked with a few Škoda service centers and showrooms, but the horn is not available. Can I install an aftermarket horn without affecting the warranty?
Got this when I replaced the screen with dhc one, if anyone's interested in buying pls dm me
Dear fellow Skodans,
Please suggest your honest review as a new driver. I need a AT since 80% of my travel is home to office in heavy pune traffic! What should I do?
Is kylaq good option to buy my concern is mileage and how much it would give in Bengaluru traffic 🚦
Hi everyone,
I own a 2025 Skoda Kylaq Prestige with the 10-inch infotainment.
My current system information is:
Software: 0873
Device Part Number: 6JM035180
Hardware: H04
Recently I’ve seen videos of newer 2026 Kylaq Prestige/Prestige Plus models where the infotainment seems to have:
Voice commands to control the AC (e.g. “set temperature to 22°C”)
On-screen HVAC controls integrated into the infotainment
A slightly updated UI
I’m trying to figure out whether these features are:
Just a newer software/firmware update,
Enabled through dealer coding (ODIS),
Or if they require different infotainment hardware altogether.
Has anyone with a 2025 Kylaq successfully updated from software 0873 (or similar) to a newer version?
If you own a 2026 Kylaq Prestige/Prestige Plus, could you please check:
Settings → System → System Information
and share:
Software version
Device Part Number
Hardware version
That would really help determine whether both cars use the same hardware and if the new features could potentially be added to older cars.
Thanks in advance!
