How do I make my car shine ?

I follow the following ritual every 2 weeks

Car details - skoda kylaq ( Dark grey )

- Prewash (koch chemie green star 1-20 dilution)

- mitten wash with koch chemie nano magic shampoo

- dry with big microfiber

This gives a decent gloss and slickness.

But I am looking for a deeper shine.

Should I use the koch chemie protector wax on top of the nano magic shampoo?

Any other products like the soft99 fusso coat wax ?

Car is just 4 months old. so I don't want to go for professional polishing.

Doubt: AC compressor strain.

Hi, I'm a first-time buyer of this car (Signature 2025 variant).

If I consistently set the AC knob to its coolest setting, will this result in increased fuel consumption?

Conversely, does keeping the AC knob set to a less extreme temperature reduce the strain on the AC compressor and potentially improve fuel efficiency?

Signature(2025) rear cabin light DIY

A few months ago I had posted regarding how a rear passenger dropped some cash and struggled to find it because there was no rear cabin light, so I found this magnetic touch light at Mr.DIY, and I think it fulfills the purpose.

It originally had a 150mAh battery, but I upgraded it to a 350mAh one to extend the runtime.

DHC infotainment = worse audio quality?

Anyone else feel the DHC infotainment system has worse audio quality than the stock 7-inch unit on the Kylaq?

I upgraded from the stock 7-inch infotainment system to the DHC unit, and the sound quality feels noticeably worse. It's hard to explain, but it feels like going from 1080p to 720p—less clear and less detailed.

Same speakers, same music sources, only the head unit changed.

Has anyone noticed this?

Could the DHC unit have a weaker DAC, amplifier, or different audio tuning?🤔🤔🤔

New car fragrance

Does anyone make a perfume that actually smells like a new car?

I know the "new car smell" comes from VOCs released as the car's plastics, adhesives, and other interior materials heat up and off-gas, but I genuinely like the scent. Most "new car" air fresheners don't smell authentic to me.

Has anyone found a fragrance or perfume that comes close?
