Cement sprinkled all over car

I kept my car outside at night near my relatives house.

There some concrete work happened at night and the cement got sprinkled all over carr.
I tried to foam wash and remove but sad luck not everything went.
If i try to wipe harder its leaving scratches. Any idea how to get rid of it?

Which pressure wash to get? Confused as I made a mistake last time around.

Which one to get?

I bought a GoMechanic for ₹1400 or something, and I regret it very much. So, asking you all for opinions.

Use-case:
- 2 Cars
- 1 Bike

Thanks in advance!

Window Coating test gone ✅

Did a thorough decontamination process followed by window polish and did a window coating to protect and get those hydrophobics!

You can see the results have performed the above process on half windshield and other half is the same, the results you can see in the video!

Went a little too deep down the detailing rabbit hole. Bought some legendary japanese products!! (Details below)

These are some legendary products by the Japanese brand soft99. Quite popular in the diy detailing community.

> The black tin is called the FUSSO coat - Rs950 for 200gm

It's basically a PTFE synthetic wax based paint coating which has water beading qualities and chemical resistance as good as a premium ceramic coating (there's plenty of proof on yt along with durability testing) the only catch being the life of this product is 12 months once applied onto the paint which is insane value imo especially because one tin can coat 20-25 cars.

> The orange thing is the GLACO DX - 650 for 110ml

This too is a similar product but tailored especially for automotive glass. It comes with a built in applicator (the flat grey part you can see on top of the orange tube)

Both of these products have amazing water beading and imo nothing comes close to these in terms of value.

I'll be hand polishing the car before applying these products and these are definitely not beginner friendly so please buy these only if you're actually into detailing.

I'll be making a post about the of these application soon.

Opinion on pre-cut interior ppf

I'm considering getting interior PPF done on the glossy black trim in my Mahindra EV, but I'm getting conflicting advice from detailing studios around Mumbai.
A few detailers strongly advised against it, saying the installation process involves water and there's a risk of moisture reaching the electronics. Others said it's completely safe if done correctly. The common theme, though, was that none of them were willing to guarantee against any electrical issues.
Has anyone here actually had interior PPF installed on their Mahindra EV? How has it held up, and did you face any issues afterward?
Given how easily the piano black surfaces scratch, it seems like a good idea—but is it really worth taking the risk?

Dilution calculator with products

Hey detailers,

I’m a solo dev who details on the side, and I kept forgetting my dilution ratios, so I made a little app called Detailution to do the math for me.

It’s got 400+ products with their mix ratios already in there, and you can add your own too. You just put in the ratio and how much you want to make and it works out the rest. Runs fully offline too.

Android only for now, link’s in the comments. If people actually want it I’ll do an iOS version too.

Would be cool to hear what you think. If something’s missing or wrong, or there’s a product I should add, let me know.

Setting up a manual Car & Bike Wash (asking inputs)

Hey everyone,

I am planning to set up a manual car and bike wash service center in a tier 3 town (~4,000 sq. ft.)

The Setup & Location Advantage:

Located directly adjacent to 4–5 vehicle dealerships/lots. I plan to actively pitch them.

The workflow will be a straight-line assembly flow:

Main street entrance -> Customer Lounge/Cafe/Accessories Shop -> Central Dry Detailing Zone -> Covered Wet Washing Bays at the far rear.

To keep initial capital lean, I am avoiding full automation but focusing heavily on robust commercial-grade machinery.

My Research & Current Equipment Choices:

Here is the heavy iron I am looking at right now:

1 Hydraulic Hoist: ATS ELGI 4-Ton single-post hoist (with a dedicated H-ramp) for essential underbody mud blasting.

2 High-Pressure Washer: Shifting away from overpriced proprietary setups to an industrial wall-mounted Brass Triplex Plunger Pump (targeting 150 Bar variable pressure with an unloader valve, and a high flow rate of 12–15 LPM).

3 Air Compressor: 3 HP, 100L or 120L Belt-Driven unit (running cool at ~1100 RPM to handle back-to-back foam cannon use without cooking the pump seals).

4 Vacuum: Hyco 60L Wet/Dry Industrial Canister Vacuum with a triple-motor setup (4,500W total, but I'll run individual 1,500W switches for routine dry dust to manage power draw).

Need suggestions:

Microfiber Towels (GSM & Strategy): What is the optimal GSM breakdown I should buy in bulk? I was thinking 400 GSM for interiors/door jambs and a massive 800+ GSM double-twist loop towel for paint drying. What brands or specs hold up best to daily commercial washing/laundering?

Low-Cost Customer Engagement: Since I have a dedicated cafe and accessories shop at the front to draw side income (and capture the dealership staff), what are some creative, cheap ways to keep waiting retail customers happy and engaged so they don't mind a 30-minute wait?

The Washers/Compressor: Are there any hidden flaws in going for industrial/mid-tier wall-mounted triplex pumps vs. encased units like a Bosch GHP or Karcher HD cage classic?

Or any other suggestion which I may have missed like 3 phase electricity, variable cost.

Looking forward to your roasts, advice, and product recommendations.

Thank you everyone.
