should i pay off my loan faster or keep more cash saved?
i have some extra money saved and i'm trying to decide what to do with it. paying down my loan would reduce the balance faster, but keeping the money would give me a bigger emergency cushion.
option 1 is to make a larger payment. option 2 is to keep the money in savings and pay the loan normally.
tl;dr: pay down the loan faster or keep the cash available?
