LM2110 High Lift Blade or Select Cut Conversion
Just picked up the LM2110 and haven't mowed yet, but I've already been seeing a lot of criticism about the stock mulch blade and videos of people retrofitting it with Select Cut blades from the newer models.
The single high lift blade (AB2101) is about $35 CAD while the Select Cut high lift set (AB2102D) plus the conversion kit runs closer to $90 CAD. I'm in Canada with cool season grass and my lawn is only around 1,500 sqft, so I'm not a lawn enthusiast by any means, just want it to look decent.
Does the Select Cut actually improve suction/bagging or is it purely a cut quality thing? Worth the extra $55 for a small lawn like mine?
