Icebear Maddog Gen 1 starting issues please help
I have a icebear maddog gen 1 scooter that I got about 3 years ago. I decided to change out the handlebars and throttle and now it won't start.
I went from the standard chrome metal handlebar to a painted one. I finished getting it swapped out and all put back together and now it won't start.
I found a post online that it might be because the new handlebar is painted which is causing grounding issues. Is it correct that the metal housing unit for the kill switch and starter button create a ground when connected to the metal handlebar?
If this is true then I should be able to sand the paint away around that housing unit for it to start right?
I'm hoping that's all it is because the bike started fine before I swapped out the handlebar. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
