Found this on marketplace it’s a 1986 Honda helix with 30k miles in it they are asking $1600 is it worth buying or not? I really love these but don’t know anything about them or how much life they have in them any help would be appreciated
What could be the reason for high rpm low speed. The roller are new btw.
Bringing a 1976 classic back to life. Just wrapped up a full inside-out restoration on this Vespa Super. Vapor-blasted the engine so she's breathing like she just rolled out of the factory, and fully street legal, just admiring the art of the rebuild. Respect the classics!
Been riding this TMAX for a while now and honestly still enjoying it a lot for everyday commuting.
Comfortable, powerful and really practical in traffic.
Just sharing a few pictures of the current setup — curious to know what you guys think about the TMAX compared to other scooters.
Hi guys, this is my Dylan 150 i got for 160$,had 34k kms in it,changed oil and coolant, only needs a new pair of tires(already bought just needs installing)
If you are thinking about buying a scooter,i def recommend, its comfortable quite and quick.
Has a very low consumption of around 3-4l/100km and its crazy for its 80-90kmh cruising speed.
It has a good sized under-seat compartment, even has a pretty big glovebox that fits your papers, gloves and even a Redbull🤣
2 wires coming off a 1A fuse on a 2009 buddy 50
How does registration work with the bill of sale ? 50cc gets a license plate ? Is the plate permanent? Do you have to pay property tax ? Can you register a 125 as 50? Will they know ?
Need help with my 1985 aero 80. I blew the piston in it and did a top end rebuild replacing the piston and cylinder with a Niche kit I found on eBay. Ever since it starts and runs as good as it used to however whenever holding WOT or near WOT for an extended amount of time the engine dies randomly like you flipped the off switch. I cannot figure this out for the life of me if anyone has any advice please let me know.
Hey all!
I’ve been wanting to make a post about this for a while now and I think it might be the time for me to get a scooter. With rising fuel costs it’s beginning to become harder to fill the car and I wanted a vehicle to get me to and from work without having to break the bank (spend less than $1400 preferably) and go on an adventure with it.
I’ve seen a few posts talking about the Vitacci Tank 200cc and it definitely seems up my alley. However, I am only seeing them on Amazon which seems quite fishy to me.
If there are any other brands that you would recommend please let me know!
Cheers!
Got a pretty good deal, runs great, well maintained, no leaks, no issues, 17k miles but got it for 1k. Super excited to use this thing
Is this bad will this do anything to make the bike not work?
This is my current collection of restored Elite 80s. Like a new box of Crayola crayons. I just love these bikes. Usually get them in broken-down condition, repaint the plastics, rebuild the engines, and put them as back to stock as I possibly can.
In my continuing adventures browsing Japanese used motorcycle auctions, I ran across this for sale... A triked-out Yamaha Maxam CP250 (aka Morphous in the USA). Long, low and making a Helix look positively dainty... I think it needs a Cadillac badge and hood ornament...

I’m so over it!!! My burgman 650cc has been struggling to switch out of first gear. I can tell because the RPMs almost redline when I’m up to 25 mph. It’s not the center stand switch. I replaced the battery. No one in my entire city knows how to handle this thing. The scooter people don’t get it because it’s not your average scooter. The motorcycle people don’t get it because it’s not a motorcycle. I’m about to just sell it to whoever. Any thoughts are helpful! Thanks
People often tell me “a 125cc isnt good for roadtrips” “it cant handle it”
“Its uncomfortable to ride that long”
I took my first road trip last weekend,
Drove 700km’s in just 2.5days, not once was i uncomfortable and it handled everything i threw at it.
Cant wait to do it again.
Dont let haters tell you what a scooter cant do!
Hi everyone, i have a 2023 yamaha 155 cc and now i am trying to reduce the weight of the scooter. Looking for some ideas. Till now I have changed the battery with li-ion, change the exhaust with a lighter one, removed the center stand (this i recomd to all, because it is 10 second to put it on when you need it), changed the handlebar with one made of aluminum alloy (here the weight difference with the original is not very big), also the rear shock absorbers are changed with better ones (yss) and there maybe some weight was added, did cut the passenger handle (like th x-max model).
So any suggestions what part can be replaced with aftermarket lighter one?
Ps i know that the main weight loss wll com when i lose some kilograms and i am working on it haha.
I have a Bali 150cc made by xpro with a GY6 engine. It's only been on the road for 2 weeks and has 1450 km on it. The oil is good, there is gas in, and it definitely isnt a dead battery. Motorbike mechanics are new to me, but I have worked on my own cars so I'm not unfamiliar with mechanics.
Here's the problem. I took it on a road trip (112 km) at 88km it boggs down and dies. I did have it wide open for a while sometimes reaching speeds of 88 km/h for long stretches of highway. I pulled over on the shoulder of the road and let the engine cool completely to the touch. I added a bit of oil to it and it cranked and idled fine. So I thought I could make it the rest of the way going slowly till I reached my destination (24 km to go). I got up to 56 km/h and it boggs out again. This time it turns over, but will not crank. I am at a loss.
I can't control anyone, but if I have one request, please keep snarky comments out of this if you can. I don't mind directness, it's actually really helpful when people are blunt. But I can't afford another ride right now. This motorbike is all I have. It's my income and my daily driver. Not just a toy. 🤍
UPDATE #1
I have no spark when I touch the plug to the engine. I DO have pressure when I put my finger on the sparkplug hole. There was some soot on the copper inside the rubber connector, but I cleaned that out with a q-tip. The oil is refilled to the right level. When squeeze the rubber housing on the ignition coil, the connection feels secure on the 2 spade terminals. They don't feel loose to me. I pulled off the CDI and it looks clean and smells brand new. Am I overthinking this?
For the 3rd step, do I need to put everything back together first and then test? Or should I put everything back together with a new spark plug and then do step 3?
I'm going to eat dinner and leave things alone for a min. Hopefully it won't get dark before we can figure this out...
