Horses at Batiqiutos Lagoon =? Clearly can't be legal....
I'm walking back with my dog on the lagoon trail to my car. A guy comes up to me and says, "I can bring me horse here right, the sign doesn't say you can't". I tell him that I've never seen horses there and I'm certain they aren't allowed b/c its nature preserve. He repeats the fact that the sign doesn't say you can't. I tell him it's also a very busy trail with walkers, joggers and dogs...not likely that horses would be allowed to be mixed into that. I'm thinking, "well cars aren't allowed on this trail either and it's not on the sign". He said he would be bringing his horse to the Batiquitos lagoon trail and there's no sign telling him he can't. I give him a final "it's up to you man, but I don't think that's legal and I suspect the ticket/fine is big".
Sooo...if you see the horse guy on the trail tomorrow....I warned you. I wouldn't mind being there if/when he tries it....he's certain he's in the right. lol.
