Leaves always praying, normal?

Her leaves are always praying last few days, even at night. Is this normal behavior? Before she was resting her leaves in the dark.

Thrips handling

Hello guys!
How do you deal with thrips outdoor. Sprayed 2 times with neem oil and insecticidal soap, but still killing 5-7 larvae a day manually on my plant.
And how big of a problem they may become?

Would like to hear from people who encountered them.
Thank you very much.

How are we looking?

How is she looking guys? Had some rain yesterday and she seems to really like it.

Didn’t want to bend the main stem as the first grow but to let it grow naturally, as the yields is not my goal but some basic experience first.

Also we have some thrips, but seems like I keep it under control, today has to go with the second round of neem oil.

Feeding advice

Hello everyone!

Need your advice on feeding.

I am using a mix of 40% peat, 40% coco and 20% perlite. My plant is in day 23 growing outdoor.

Till now I didn’t use any nutrients. Been adding only roots activator and that’s it as the peat has food in it.

Today I bought Bio Grow, Bio Bloom, Top Max and Calmag.

Can I start adding a little bit of Bio Grow at this stage? Or not necessarily? The plant isn’t showing any deficiencies yet.

And about Bio Bloom, should I start it when the plant is entering preflower?

Sorry if my questions seem dumb. First time growing.

Happy with my seedling.

Didn’t snap her steam yet, didn’t stunt her yet as I did with my first one 🥲😅

Day 7. Hopefully she will make it.

Just wanted to share the progress with you guys. ❤️

Hardening off?

Hi guys! This is my second grow attempt.

3 days seedling Original Big Bud AUTO from Fast Buds. Germinated it indoor.

Don’t have a growing light honestly as my goal is to grow it outdoor.

Is it the time to harden?

It’s growing now under a 20W bulb(I know it’s too low for her) only and window, but I am trying not to expose it to the sun much now even throw window as I think it’s too hot.

Should I try to bring it outside? In the shade?

Would appreciate your advice. Thank you!

First grow, ~1 week old autoflower seedling — true leaves browning/drying and growth seems stalled. Overwatering?

First-time grower, single Dos Si Dos autoflower, growing outdoors (temperate climate, ~26°C days, cooler nights).
She sprouted about a week ago and had a rough start (seed shell stuck on the cotyledons, which I eventually helped remove). Cotyledons opened green and the first true leaves started coming in, but now:
True leaf edges and tips are going brown and dry

One cotyledon is browning too

Growth seems stalled/very slow the last few days

Stem is a bit long/leggy

Setup:
26L plastic pot (way bigger than she needs right now), peat/perlite mix with drainage layer

Watering with plain water, no nutrients yet

I think I may have been overwatering — small seedling in a big pot, soil staying moist a long time

Just put the pot on bricks + added a few drainage/airflow holes near the rim to help it dry out

No nutrients given at all

My guess: root stress from the soil staying too wet (can’t oxygenate), maybe made worse by handling stress early on. But the brown crispy leaves also make me wonder about light/heat.
Could experienced growers tell me — does this look like overwatering/root issues, light stress, or something else? And is letting the soil dry out + leaving her alone the right move, or am I missing something? Photos attached. Thanks 🙏

Health check

Do si Dos Auto. Outdoor.

The dark tip on one cotyledon came from a piece of membrane that made both of them stuck.

Dome felt on it 2 days ago which also bent the stem but she seems to be fixing that.

What do you think?

Taproot black tip

Hi growers.

As you can see on the image, the tip of the taproot turned dark. However I planted it.
Do you think it has a chance to survive or it’s dead?
